Dear brothers and sisters, I would love you to pray for the fear of the LORD. For me and you.

2 Corinthians 7

1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Dear LORD GOD, I come before You tonight for my brothers, my sisters and myself to fear You. I humbly ask You to give us the fear for You so we will walk in Your ways and always seek to walk in Your way. We need You and we need to fear You Lord Jesus. Please give us this fear Lord, we want to grow and be fruitfull. Oh Lord, I have sinned more than I should and I seek Your forgiveness. Help me to follow You and to honour You in ALL i do. Please bless and help my brothers and sisters and give them the fear of You. Amen!

Lord, thank You for a very wise prayer that Mattia requested for. It is a prayer that many miss praying for and only a handful have this desire to ask for the fear of the Lord. Bless Mattia as he studies more on the fear of the Lord using the concordance to search for this precious virtue in Your word as I ask this in Your blessed Name, amen.

1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,

And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

The Spirit of counsel and might,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

3 His(referring to Jesus, the Perfect One) delight is in the fear of the LORD,-Isaiah 11

If Jesus Who is The Trinity of the Godhead delights Himself in the fear of the Lord, all the more we mere human beings should seek and embrace the fear of the Lord which our dear brother, Mattia is doing.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;

The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;

The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; -Psalm 19

One of the definition word for 'endure' is 'to continue or be durable'.

As we know, Lucifer had a pride problem because he did not have the fear of the Lord for the fear of the Lord is clean, and that is why he could not continue in heaven but was thrown out and eventually will be destroyed forever. For Jesus, His Kingdom will rule and will endure forever and ever amen. And this is the beauty of the fear of the Lord
