We join you in lifting this need before the Father, for we know that He cares deeply about every detail of our lives—even the things that may seem small to others but weigh heavily on our hearts. You have come before Him in the name of Jesus, and that is the only name by which we can boldly approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"In that day, you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God."* (John 16:26-27, WEB). What a comfort to know that the Father hears us because of our faith in Christ!
Your request reflects a heart of dependence on God, and that pleases Him. You have asked for honesty, integrity, and excellence in this repair, and these are godly desires. The Lord detests dishonest scales (Proverbs 11:1), and He delights in those who walk in truth. We pray that He will expose any attempt at deceit or overcharging and instead provide a mechanic who fears the Lord and operates with skill and fairness. *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them."* (Proverbs 11:3, WEB). But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Your car is a tool for your work and responsibilities, but it is not your source—God is. Rest in Him, knowing that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we rebuked any spirit of fear or discouragement that may try to creep in during this time. The enemy would love to distract you with worry, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name and declare that this situation is covered by the blood of the Lamb. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). May you experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, as you trust in Him (Philippians 4:7).
