While God extends favor to whomever He chooses; there is no favoritism based on person or position. There is however, priority, based on relationship.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. (Galatians Ch.6 v10, KJV)
Even when Jesus prayed; He prioritized His followers Those who believe, and those who would become faithful believers through His disciples' ministries. He did not pray for those who turned their backs on Him.
⁹I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those You have given me, for they are Yours. ¹⁰All I have is Yours, and all You have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. ¹¹I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by the power of Your Name, the Name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. (John Ch.17 v9-11, NIV)
"I am glorified in them" means that Jesus is honored, made known, and reflected through our belief in Him, our life of obedience to Him, and our witness about Him. It signifies that believers embody the transformative power of the Gospel, bringing glory to Him just as He brings glory to the Father. Even when remembering our service, e defines our love for Him in the following way:
God doesn't miss anything. He knows perfectly well all the love you've shown Him by helping needy Christians, and that you keep at it. (Hebrews Ch.6 v10, MSG)
What?!! Needy Christians? Many have been misled to believe that if you're a Christian, you'll never ever be in need, let alone have to beg bread. However, because of man's evil ways, those very things often occur.
"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John Ch.16 v33, NLT)
Not peace as the world and false prophets define it; but rather, in knowing that because you have accepted Jesus's love, which is the grace of forgiveness through repentance, your name is written in the Book of Life. That's the peace that surpasses all understanding. The world can't discern this peace through human logic.
