We come before the Lord with a heart full of hope for your daughter’s future, lifting up this specific request for her admission to the university closest to your home. Father, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and we trust in Your perfect plan for her education and well-being. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We pray that if this university is Your will for her, You would open the doors wide and make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask for favor in the admissions process, wisdom for those reviewing her application, and clarity for her as she navigates this season. Lord, we also lift up the practical concerns of health and finances, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). May she experience Your peace and provision in every area.
At the same time, we surrender this request to You, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. If this university is not part of Your best for her, we ask that You close the door gently and redirect her steps toward the path You have prepared. Give her faith to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even if the outcome is different from what we hope for.
We also want to encourage her—and all of us—to seek You first in every decision. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Education is important, but it is even more vital that she grows in her relationship with You, walking in wisdom and discernment.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You guide her steps according to Your perfect will.
