We come before the Lord together, lifting up this request for favor, wisdom, and guidance in an upcoming meeting where financial help is being sought. Father God, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we ask that You would open doors of provision according to Your will. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Lord, we pray that You would grant divine wisdom to those involved in this meeting, that they may speak and act in ways that honor You and align with Your purposes.
We also ask for Your favor to rest upon this situation. "For You, Lord, will bless the righteous. With favor You will surround him as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12 WEB). May Your presence be felt in this meeting, and may the hearts of those who have the ability to provide financial help be softened and inclined toward generosity. We trust in Your provision, Lord, knowing that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1 WEB).
However, we must also remind ourselves that our ultimate trust must be in You, not in financial help or earthly provision. "Do not lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves do not break through and steal" (Matthew 6:19-20 WEB). We pray that this meeting would not only result in financial blessing but also in a deeper reliance on You and a greater commitment to stewardship according to Your Word.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and favor to be poured out in this meeting. Guide every word spoken and every decision made, that it may align with Your perfect will. Provide the financial help that is needed, but more importantly, draw hearts closer to You. Help us to remember that our trust is in You alone, and that all blessings come from Your hand. May this situation bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting in His timing and His plans. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB). May you find peace and assurance in His promises, knowing that He cares for you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
