Favor to Take Pastoral Phone Call -- That It's Answered, Received Well and Constructive; Results in Plan for Restoration, Reconciliation, Salvation

Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Home Group Leaders' Pastor is Reaching Out Possibly This Morning or Tonight... Please ask for mercy and favor on the call... May she answer it with a humble heart and be willing to listen, forgive, reconcile, reunite and may I literally be Jesus Christ in front of her and our son, nonstop -- since she is not yet saved and does not have mind renewed as of yet, Rom 12:1-3...

Regardless of Reasons — Since she's not saved... I should have quietly born the provocation as silently as a lamb before it’s shearers, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, and had no deceit in my mouth, 1 Pet 2:22-23, rather than “jealousy which is a husband’s fury” Prov 6:34, and “as strong as death,” Song 8:6. If I have a chance to do it over, I would rather "power be perfected in weakness,” and “gladly rejoiced in insults, 2 Cor 12:9-10, for when I am weak, then I am strong.” -- I should have turned the other cheek, Matt 5:39, demonstrating love while we were yet sinners, Rom 5:8...

Please ask God to change her heart, forgive me for keeping a record of wrongs, 1 Cor 13:5. If she was reconciling, who was I to bring it up? 2 Cor 5:19-20... May I truly be granted better wisdom, James 1:5, deep repentance, 2 Cor 7:10, and strengthened by the indwelling of Christ in my heart, and learn and show Christ’s love that passes knowledge, Eph 3:16-17, 18-19, and may He do exceeding abundantly beyond ANYTHING we can ask or IMAGINE… Eph 3:20… I have a strong imagination… Do “great and mighty things I do not know,” Jer 33:3, even, “greater works than the works He did since He has gone to The Father, John 14:12.

Holy Spirit, touch her heart to swallow any pride or illusion of reputation, forgive me for "finding out" and more importantly, for bringing it up (my counselors had advised I didn't bring it up but in a moment of provocation and weakness the reality of my holding a record of wrongs was disclosed), 1 Cor 13:5. We come before the Throne of Grace to receive MERCY and GRACE for HELP in time of NEED, Heb 4:16.

Strengthen me, our Cell-Group Leaders (and members) as well our families to PRAY and INTERCEDE for REPENTANCE, HUMILITY, and RECONCILIATION — WE HAVE A 16 Month Old SON… PLEASE LET the purpose for which the KINDNESS of GOD is intended is to LEAD US to REPENTANCE, Rom 2:4.

Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water, Prov 21:1. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16. I GLADLY PREFER she and I reconcile, she finds forgiveness and is truly saved. I don't want to be a stumbling block by jealousy or any offense (laughing my vehicles were clamped lead me to accusing her of selfishness in familial relationships and bringing up [hopefully] past sins). I should have born the reproach in silence, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, 1 Pet 2:22-23. Forgive me and grant me another chance and this time upon a firm foundation of The Sermon on The Mount, Matt 7:24, namely, turning the other cheek, Matt 5:39.

💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my wife and matrimonial love’s heart and renew her mind, Rom 12:2-3… (We COMMITTED to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as YOU and others, myself included, remember). Please do this for the sake of the mystery of marriage as a portrayal of Christ and His Bride, Eph 5:32, for our children, Ps 73:15, and to declare the works of the Lord, Isa 38:19, Ps 118:16-17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We lift this situation before the Lord with heavy and hopeful hearts, knowing that He alone can soften hearts, restore what is broken, and bring reconciliation where there seems to be no way. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We declare that there is no other foundation than Jesus Christ, and it is only by His blood that we can stand before You cleansed and forgiven.

Lord, we pray for this pastoral phone call that is so critical in this moment. We ask for Your divine favor and mercy to rest upon it. May the pastor’s words be filled with Your wisdom, grace, and truth, and may they be received with humility and openness. Father, we pray that this call would not only be answered but that it would be a turning point—a moment where hearts are aligned with Your will and where restoration begins. Soften the heart of this wife, Lord. Remove any pride, bitterness, or hardness that may be present, and replace it with a spirit of repentance, forgiveness, and a desire to reconcile. Let her hear Your voice through this conversation, and may she be drawn to the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

We also lift up this husband before You, Lord. He has come with a heart of repentance, acknowledging his own failures and weaknesses. We ask that You would grant him a deep and abiding humility, that he would truly embody the love of Christ in this situation. Father, forgive him for holding onto a record of wrongs, for allowing jealousy and provocation to lead him into sin. We pray that You would cleanse his heart and renew his mind, that he would walk in the power of Your Spirit, demonstrating the love, patience, and self-control that only You can provide. Help him to be a living example of Christ to his wife and son, reflecting Your grace and truth in every word and action.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to destroy this marriage. We declare that this union is a sacred covenant before You, a reflection of Christ and His Bride, the Church. We stand on Your Word in Ephesians 5:32, which tells us that marriage is a profound mystery that points to Christ and the Church. Father, we pray that You would restore this marriage for Your glory, for the sake of their son, and for the testimony of Your faithfulness to all who witness it. Let this family be a beacon of Your love and redemption, showing the world that with You, all things are possible.

We also ask that You would strengthen this husband, his cell group leaders, and all who are interceding for this family. Lord, raise up a mighty army of prayer warriors who will stand in the gap, lifting this situation before You day and night. May their prayers be powerful and effective, as James 5:16 tells us, and may they see the fruit of their intercession in the form of repentance, humility, and reconciliation. Father, we know that You desire for families to be whole and for marriages to reflect Your love. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, doing exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we can ask or imagine, as Ephesians 3:20 promises.

Lord, we pray for the salvation of this wife. You tell us in Romans 2:4 that Your kindness is meant to lead us to repentance. We ask that You would pour out Your kindness upon her, drawing her to Yourself. Remove any obstacles that may be keeping her from seeing the truth of the Gospel, and open her eyes to the beauty of a life surrendered to Jesus Christ. Let her experience the fullness of Your love and the peace that comes from knowing You. We pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that she would be born again by Your Spirit, and that her mind would be renewed by Your Word.

Father, we also ask that You would help this husband to walk in the wisdom and strength that comes from You. May he be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, as James 1:19 instructs. Help him to turn the other cheek, to love as Christ loved, and to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in every situation. Lord, we know that Your power is made perfect in weakness, and we pray that this husband would find his strength in You alone. May he rejoice in his weaknesses, knowing that when he is weak, then he is strong in You.

We pray for their 16-month-old son, Lord. Protect his heart and mind during this time of turmoil. May he grow up knowing that You are a God of restoration and love, and may he see the power of Your grace at work in his family. Father, we ask that You would use this situation to draw this entire family closer to You, that they would know You more deeply and walk in Your ways more fully.

Lord, we ask that You would steer the hearts of this husband and wife as You steer the hearts of kings, like channels of water in Your hand. Direct their steps, their words, and their decisions according to Your perfect will. May they be willing to meet together with their pastors, to lay everything on the table, and to seek Your face together. Heal their marriage, Lord, and make it a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

We come before You now, Father, with hearts full of faith and expectation. We believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that this marriage will be restored, this family will be reunited, and Your name will be glorified through it all. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
