Favor on a Pastoral Phone Call -- That It's Answered, Received Well and Constructive; Resulting in Plan for Restoration and Reconciliation...

Good and Faithful Servant
🙏 Home Group Leaders' Pastor is Reaching Out to Her in 3-6 hrs... Please ask for mercy and favor on the call... May she answer it with a humble heart and be willing to reconcile, reunite and may I literally be Jesus in front of her and our son, nonstop...

Regardless of Reasons — Since she's not saved... I should have quietly born the provocation as silently as a lamb before it’s shearers, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, and had no deceit in my mouth, 1 Pet 2:22-23, rather than “jealousy which is a husband’s fury” Prov 6:34, and “as strong as death,” Song 8:6. If I have a chance to do it over, I would rather "power be perfected in weakness,” and “gladly rejoiced in insults, 2 Cor 12:9-10, for when I am weak, then I am strong.” -- I should have turned the other cheek, Matt 5:39, demonstrating love while we were yet sinners, Rom 5:8...

Please ask God to change her heart, forgive me for keeping a record of wrongs, 1 Cor 13:5. If she was reconciling, who was I to bring it up? 2 Cor 5:19-20... May I truly be granted better wisdom, James 1:5, deep repentance, 2 Cor 7:10, and strengthened by the indwelling of Christ in my heart, and learn and show Christ’s love that passes knowledge, Eph 3:16-17, 18-19, and may He do exceeding abundantly beyond ANYTHING we can ask or IMAGINE… Eph 3:20… I have a strong imagination… Do “great and mighty things I do not know,” Jer 33:3, even, “greater works than the works He did since He has gone to The Father, John 14:12.

Holy Spirit, touch her heart to swallow any pride or illusion of reputation, forgive me for "finding out" and more importantly, for bringing it up (my counselors had advised I didn't bring it up but in a moment of provocation and weakness the reality of my holding a record of wrongs was disclosed), 1 Cor 13:5. We come before the Throne of Grace to receive MERCY and GRACE for HELP in time of NEED, Heb 4:16.

Strengthen me, our Cell-Group Leaders (and members) as well our families to PRAY and INTERCEDE for REPENTANCE, HUMILITY, and RECONCILIATION — WE HAVE A 16 Month Old SON… PLEASE LET the purpose for which the KINDNESS of GOD is intended is to LEAD US to REPENTANCE, Rom 2:4.

Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water, Prov 21:1. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16. I GLADLY PREFER she and I reconcile, she finds forgiveness and is truly saved. I don't want to be a stumbling block by jealousy or any offense (laughing my vehicles were clamped lead me to accusing her of selfishness in familial relationships and bringing up [hopefully] past sins). I should have born the reproach in silence, Isa 53:7, Acts 8:32, 1 Pet 2:22-23. Forgive me and grant me another chance and this time upon a firm foundation of The Sermon on The Mount, Matt 7:24, namely, turning the other cheek, Matt 5:39.

💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my wife and matrimonial love’s heart and renew her mind, Rom 12:2-3… (We COMMITTED to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as YOU and others, myself included, remember). Please do this for the sake of the mystery of marriage as a portrayal of Christ and His Bride, Eph 5:32, for our children, Ps 73:15, and to declare the works of the Lord, Isa 38:19, Ps 118:16-17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and intercession. Father, we ask for Your divine favor and mercy upon this pastoral phone call that is to take place. Lord, we pray that the call is answered, received with humility, and conducted in a spirit of reconciliation and restoration. May Your Holy Spirit go before both parties, softening hearts and preparing the way for Your will to be done.

We recognize the deep remorse and repentance expressed here, and we join in asking for forgiveness for any record of wrongs kept, for jealousy, and for any actions that did not reflect the love and patience of Christ. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB). Lord, we ask that You cleanse and renew this heart, filling it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear and resentment.

Father, we are reminded of Your Word that says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). We pray that this call and the steps that follow will lead to peace, humility, and a willingness to reconcile. May both parties lay down their pride and seek Your face together, for You are the God who heals and restores. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB).

We also lift up the concern for salvation. Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray that this wife comes to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, that her heart is opened to the truth of the Gospel, and that she experiences the transformative power of Your love. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). May this reconciliation be a testimony to Your grace and mercy, drawing her closer to You.

Father, we ask for wisdom and strength for this husband, that he may truly embody the love of Christ in all his actions. May he be a living example of Your patience, kindness, and forgiveness, especially toward his wife and son. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). Grant him the grace to turn the other cheek, to love as You have loved, and to walk in humility.

We pray for their 16-month-old son, that he may grow up in a home filled with Your love, peace, and truth. May this child be a constant reminder of the covenant of marriage and the sacred bond that reflects Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:32 WEB). Lord, we ask that You protect this family and use this situation for Your glory, that others may see Your works and give You praise.

We rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or unforgiveness that may be at work in this situation. We declare that in the name of Jesus, reconciliation is possible, and restoration is Your will. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We trust in Your promise to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You steer this wife’s heart as You do the hearts of kings, like channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). May she be willing to meet with pastors, to lay everything on the table, and to seek Your will together with her husband. We pray for a spirit of repentance and humility to fall upon both of them, that they may confess their sins to one another and pray for one another, that they may be healed (James 5:16 WEB).

We commit this marriage into Your hands, Lord, and we ask that You restore it for the sake of Your glory, for the sake of their son, and for the sake of the mystery of marriage as a portrayal of Christ and His Bride. May this family be a testament to Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your power to redeem. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily in this situation. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in interceding for this situation, dear sister. We echo your prayers for favor, mercy, and reconciliation in this pastoral phone call. May the Lord grant both parties humility, understanding, and a willingness to listen and forgive. We ask that the Holy Spirit soften hearts and guide the conversation, leading to a plan for restoration and healing.

We also lift up the husband in our prayers, that he may be filled with the love, patience, and kindness of Christ. May he be a reflection of God's grace and forgiveness, turning the other cheek and seeking peace above all else. We pray that he may find the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging situation, trusting in the Lord's unfailing love.

We remember the ###-month-old son and ask for God's protection and guidance over his life. May he grow up in a home filled with love, peace, and truth, and may he be a constant reminder of the covenant of marriage and the sacred bond between his parents.

We rebuke any spirit of division, pride, or unforgiveness and declare that reconciliation and restoration are possible through Jesus Christ. We trust in the Lord's promise to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

We ask all this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
