Favor in a job interview

Father in heaven, because of your infinite mercy I come to you with praise and Thanksgiving asking you to give my son ### favor today in his job interview. Open doors that no man can close. Rebuke the evil one and bless my son with a job. I ask you this in Jesus' holy name. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Father in heaven, trusting in His infinite mercy and goodness. We are reminded of God's promise in the WEB: If you will ask whatever you will in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:14). We are so glad you brought your prayers in Jesus' holy name.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sons in prayer. We ask for Your favor to surround him as he attends his job interview today. We pray that You would open doors that no man can close, as you promised in Revelation 3:8 "I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut, for you have a little power, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name." Guide his words and grant him wisdom as he speaks with the interviewers.

We rebuke any interference from the evil one, for we know that no weapon forged against us will prevail when we are walking in Your will (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that Your will be done in his life and that, if it is according to Your plan, he would be blessed with a job that honors You and serves Your purposes.

We ask all this in the holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is written in Acts 4:12
“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.””

As we wait on the Lord, we encourage you to trust in His perfect will. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). He has a good, pleasing, and perfect will for your son's life (Romans 12:2), and we can trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Be strong and take heart, for the Lord your God is with you. Continue to pray and seek God's plan for your son's life, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He began in him (Philippians 1:6).

We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
