We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for healing from a fatty liver and the accompanying pain and swelling. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every breath we take. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise today, believing that You see this suffering and are moved with compassion.
Lord, we ask for Your divine touch to bring restoration to this liver, to reduce the inflammation, and to ease the pain. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and healthcare providers involved, that they would be guided by Your hand in diagnosis and treatment. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."* Father, we ask that You reveal any habits or choices that may be contributing to this condition—whether in diet, lifestyle, or stress—and grant the strength to make changes that honor You and promote healing.
We also rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for Your Word says in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will in any way hurt you."* We declare that this condition will not have dominion over this body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We speak life, health, and wholeness over every cell, tissue, and organ affected.
Father, we pray for peace to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), for anxiety and fear can hinder healing. Remind this dear one that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.
If there has been any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that may be blocking this healing, we pray for conviction and repentance, for Your Word says in James 5:16, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* We ask for a clean heart and a renewed spirit, that nothing would hinder the flow of Your healing power.
We also want to gently remind you that healing comes through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* This includes physical healing. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the first step to receiving all the blessings God has for you, including healing.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that this condition is subject to Your authority, and we expect a testimony of Your healing power. May this pain be replaced with praise, and may this trial draw this dear one closer to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
