Father's wellbeing

We join you in lifting up your father's well-being to our loving Heavenly Father. We also understand the love and concern you have for your father and therefore to come to us for support and prayer is commendable. It is important to remember that our requests should be made in faith and submission to God's perfect will. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." God's will is always good, pleasing, and perfect even when things do not happen according to our will or desire. It is also very important to remember to pray for your father's salvation and that he knows Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and a path to eternal life with God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and therefore it is great to hear that you ended your prayer request with 'In Jesus Name'. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
