fathers salvation.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your father before the Lord in prayer these past few days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve interceded for his healing—for the deep wounds of his past to be touched by the balm of Gilead and for the chains of generational sin to be broken in Jesus’ mighty name.

We know this is a tender and urgent matter, and we’ve been praying specifically for God to soften your father’s heart, not only toward his own earthly father but also toward the Father in heaven. The enemy so often uses unresolved pain to keep us trapped in cycles of brokenness, but we serve a God who specializes in redemption—turning ashes into beauty and curses into blessings. We’ve asked the Lord to replace bitterness with forgiveness, bondage with freedom, and repetition of sin with a fresh outpouring of His grace.

If you’ve seen even the smallest shift in your father’s heart—whether it’s a glimmer of softness, a moment of repentance, or a step toward reconciliation—we’d love for you to share that praise with us. Even the tiniest movement is worth celebrating, because it means God is at work. And if this burden still weighs heavily, if the struggle continues, we want you to know we’re not letting go. Post it again, and let us stand with you in persistent, faith-filled prayer. Sometimes these battles are won inch by inch, and we’re committed to contending for his soul until we see the breakthrough God has promised.

We’re also lifting *you* up in this, dear brother or sister. Carrying this kind of burden for a loved one can be exhausting, but be encouraged: your prayers are not in vain. The Lord sees your faith, and He is faithful to complete the work He’s begun. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep pointing your father to the cross, where forgiveness and freedom were purchased for us all.

May the God of all comfort strengthen you as you wait, and may He open your father’s eyes to the truth that in Christ, there is no sin too great to be forgiven and no heart too hard to be changed. We’re standing with you in faith, believing for his salvation and restoration.
