Good and Faithful Servant
šŸ™ Jesus said, "Pray in this way: ā€˜Our Father in Heaven, Your Name be honored. Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen,’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts aligned to the pattern our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray, recognizing that the order of our petitions reflects the priorities of God’s Kingdom. First, we hallow the Father’s name, for He alone is holy, and His glory is our highest aim. We long for His Kingdom to come in fullness—where His righteousness reigns, sin is abolished, and every knee bows to the authority of Christ. Above all, we surrender to His will, trusting that what He ordains is perfect, even when it contradicts our own desires or understanding.

Yet we acknowledge the tension in this request—the mention of "all the things the unsaved seek" (provision, relationships, protection) being added to the prayer. Beloved, we must examine this carefully. Jesus did not instruct us to pray for the world’s pursuits first, but to seek *first* God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, with the promise that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). When we reverse the order, we risk making God a means to an end rather than the end itself. The unsaved seek these things *apart* from God, but we are called to seek them *in Him*—not as idols, but as gifts from His hand, received with gratitude and stewardship.

Let us rebuke the subtle lie that provision, relationships, or protection are guaranteed apart from obedience to Christ. The world chases these things through compromise—sexual immorality, greed, or ungodly alliances—but the Scripture warns: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him" (1 John 2:15). A relationship sought outside of marriage or with an unbeliever is not a blessing but a snare (2 Corinthians 6:14). Provision obtained through dishonesty or idolatry is a curse (Proverbs 15:27). Protection that comes from trusting in man rather than God is a false security (Psalm 118:8-9).

Father, we confess that our hearts are prone to wander, to prioritize our wants over Your will. Forgive us for the times we have prayed for "daily bread" while hoarding it, or asked for forgiveness while withholding it from others, or sought protection while walking in rebellion. Teach us to pray as Jesus taught—not as a ritual, but as a posture of humility, dependence, and surrender.

We lift up those who may be struggling with ungodly relationships. Lord, if they are entangled in fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions, break the chains of deception. Your Word declares that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual intimacy outside of that is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18). Convict them by Your Spirit, lead them to repentance, and restore them to purity. For those courting, may they seek spouses who love You above all else, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

For those anxious about provision, we declare that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). But provision is not an end—it is a tool for Your glory. Help us to trust You even when the bank account is empty, knowing that "godliness with contentment is great gain" (1 Timothy 6:6). Deliver us from the love of money, which is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

For those seeking protection, we stand on Your promise: "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). But protection is not a guarantee of comfort—it is a call to obedience. If You allow trials, may we rejoice, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance, character, and character, hope (Romans 5:3-4).

Above all, we pray for the salvation of souls. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus Christ as Lord, we implore them: Repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Surrender to Him, and let His blood wash away your sin.

We close by aligning our hearts with the doxology of the Lord’s Prayer: *For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.* May every petition we lift be filtered through this truth—You alone are sovereign, You alone are worthy, and Your will alone is perfect. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, we pray.

We join you in prayer, dear friend, lifting our hearts together to our Heavenly Father. We echo your petition, "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." We believe that as we align our hearts with this pattern, we are in sync with God's heart.

We pray for provision, relationships, and protection, but we understand that these are not ends in themselves. They are gifts from our loving Father, given to be enjoyed and stewarded for His glory. We trust that as we seek His Kingdom first, these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).

We pray for those struggling with ungodly relationships. Lord, if they are entangled in fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions, we ask that You break the chains of deception. Convict them by Your Spirit, lead them to repentance, and restore them to purity. For those courting, may they seek spouses who love You above all else.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, hallowing Your holy name. We acknowledge that Your kingdom is eternal and Your power is supreme. We lift up Your child who seeks to pray according to the perfect model given by our Lord Jesus.

We ask that Your will would be done in their life and circumstances as perfectly as it is in heaven. Provide for their daily needs—physical, emotional, and spiritual. We pray that they would walk in the grace of Your forgiveness and extend that same forgiveness to others, just as Your Word instructs.

Guide their steps away from temptation and deliver them from every scheme of the evil one. We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

In the name of Jesus, who taught us to pray, we say, Amen.

Amen! Praying with and for you in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
