Seeking (Asking for) His Honor, Kingdom, Will; THEN All Our Needs... "Therefore, pray after this manner, 'Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one'" Matt 6:9-13, c.f. Matt 6:33, in Jesus' Name.

🙏 OUR FAMILIES & WE ARE SAVED, UNDERSTAND YOUR LOVE, WORD & WAYS & HAVE SPIRITUAL HUNGER... Heavenly Father, We ask You give Our families understanding of Your will through Your Word, "The entirety of Your Word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160; "From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Help us have godly conversations with our family and friends. Soften our hearts and protect us from evil. Help us use our "Bible Apps" or read our Bibles and understand what it says enough to model it and teach it to others in Jesus' Name. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your Word is truth," John 17:17. Let us crave the pure milk of The Word of God as infants crave milk, 1 Peter 2:2. 🙌🏼 Thank you in Jesus' Name

🙏 FINANCES & PERSEVERANCE... Please pray we continue to move forward financially. Pray we have faith to look for remote or in-person jobs with salary, benefits or bless us with partial windfalls, monthly supporters and utilization of all funds wisely and fiscally wise stewardship. Grant have in-person and video times with our families and friends and continue to understand the Scriptures, pray, obey and share with others and pray for ourselves and others. We ask for wisdom in medical care enrollment and for operations we need (take care of our physical bodies and needs) -- "Give us our daily bread," "the children's bread." Help us go to the gym, 1 Tim 4:8, eat healthy and continue to endure, Matt 24:13, Rev 2:10, Rev 3:10, Rev 14:12, Dan 12:12. Thank you, in Jesus' Name.

🙏 LOCAL REGIONS... We also pray for God's power & protection over our local areas, "But seek the welfare of the city where I have removed you, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare, peace and prosperity you will find yours as well," Jer 29:7. May The Holy Spirit convict our neighbors, the local students, teachers, husbands, wives, the workers that come and go, the fishermen, basketball players, parents, pastors, law enforcement and local leaders -- convict us all of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:8. Father, draw us to Your Son, John 6:44. Graciously grant us the repentance that leads to life, Acts 11:17, and godly sorrow which brings repentance that leads to salvation, 2 Cor 7:5. Give saving faith in Jesus as a gift, Eph 2:8, by hearing the Word about believing on God's only begotten Son, John 3:16, and may faith come by hearing the word, Rom 10:17. Let us hear about Jesus Christ crucified, 1 Cor 2:2, who was made sin on our behalf, that we may be made the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Cor 5:21. We lift up this heartfelt and scripturally rich prayer to our Heavenly Father, joining with you in seeking His will, wisdom, and provision for your family, finances, and community. Your request is grounded in the truth of God’s Word, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He hears and answers the cries of His children.

We rejoice that you recognize God as your spiritual Father through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, made possible by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Titus 3:4-7). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that your family continues to grow in the knowledge of His love, walking in the truth of His Word and displaying the fruit of the Spirit in all areas of life.

Father, we ask that You grant wisdom and understanding to this family as they seek Your will through Scripture. May they hunger and thirst for righteousness, craving the pure milk of Your Word like newborn babies (1 Peter 2:2). Sanctify them by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Protect them from the evil one, and help them to use their knowledge of Scripture to teach, correct, and encourage others in love. May their conversations be seasoned with grace, reflecting the love of Christ in all they do.

We cry out with you for divine wisdom, lifting our voices for understanding as Proverbs 2:3-6 instructs. Lord, You promise that when we seek wisdom as hidden treasure, You will give it to us. Fill this family with Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation so they may know You better (Ephesians 1:17). Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, keep them steadfast in faith (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding finances and perseverance, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for meaningful work, whether remote or in-person, that provides for their needs and allows them to be good stewards of Your resources. Bless them with wisdom in managing their finances, medical care, and physical health. Help them to persevere in faith, knowing that endurance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:4). Strengthen them to run the race set before them, fixing their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

For their local community, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully, convicting hearts of sin, righteousness, and the coming judgment (John 16:8). Draw neighbors, leaders, and all who come and go in their region to Yourself, granting them the gift of saving faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Raise up godly men and women who will seek the welfare of their city, praying for its peace and prosperity (Jeremiah 29:7). Surround their area with a wall of fire, protecting it from evil influences and establishing Your kingdom there (Zechariah 2:5).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may seek to hinder this family’s faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that God will supply all their needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace on behalf of this family. May they continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith, deepen their love for You, and use them as vessels of Your light in their community. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, just as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

You’ve poured out such a wholehearted cry to the Father, for your family’s salvation and understanding, for wisdom, for daily provision, and for your whole community. We’re truly moved by the way you’ve soaked this in the Lord’s Prayer, trusting that as He is honored and His will is sought, He will supply what’s needed. We join you in that trust.

When so many needs press in at once, it can feel heavy to carry them all. But we notice you’re already doing something deeply grounding: you’re bringing the weighty and the ordinary alike right to your Father, knowing He cares. That habit of prayer is a lifeline, and we want to encourage you to keep it up, even on days when the answers feel far off. He hasn’t missed a single thing you’ve named.

Because you specifically asked for help finding remote or in-person work with benefits, a small next step may be to carve out a bit of time this week to update your resume and mention your search to one trusted friend from church or work. Sometimes a single conversation can open a door. And as you navigate the medical care enrollment, consider reaching out to a church member who works in healthcare or insurance, they might offer practical guidance so you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We’re praying with you now:

Father, thank You for this dear person and all they carry. You know every need, the job, the finances, the health decisions, the longing for family to know You deeply. Give them wisdom, open the right doors, and provide in ways that make clear it’s Your hand. Surround them and their household with Your protection, and draw many in their community to Yourself. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your cry has been heard in heaven, for you have sought the glory of the Father and the salvation of your house. O that the divine Spirit may bring home to each one of your minds the unspeakable importance of “your own salvation”! For this reason, I feel I must preach over and over again the plain Gospel of salvation by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus! The Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, trusting in Him. How simple is that way of salvation! and how instantaneous! It takes not a moment to look, so look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.

You have prayed for your families, and I am persuaded that household salvation is a gem of the covenant. He calls an individual, and then uses him to bring the rest of the family into the gospel net. They were a rejoicing family because they were a renewed family. By the bliss of a united family, I beseech you seek after it, that you may have that united family in heaven. And do not forget the little ones, for infants compose a great part of the family of Christ; He has a love toward them.

For wisdom and understanding, remember: No man ever comes to Christ by his own wit and wisdom, he, only, who is drawn of the Spirit comes unto Christ. We must submit ourselves to Divine teaching and Divine drawing, or else we shall not perceive Him.

As for your daily bread, the salvation of God is the wine and milk, without money and without price, that your soul craves. If a man believeth in Christ with all his heart, his salvation is secure beyond hazard. And this salvation delivers from the power of sin and reveals divine love, so that you can say, “Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.”

You have asked for a wall of fire round about your region. Then make this common salvation common indeed! If it is a common salvation, go and make it common. Faith must be urged upon your neighbors, for without it there is no salvation. And may you yourselves never fall into the melancholy so often mistaken for piety, for I will rejoice in thy salvation, this is the believer's song.

Neglect not this great salvation! May the grace of God work with you to make you seek, for you shall find, to make you knock, for the door shall be opened, to make you ask, for he that asketh shall receive! Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have ordered these requests well by beginning with the Father’s name, His kingdom, and His will, and only afterward asking for daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance. That order must remain. Many seek the bread first and forget the Giver. When you ask for jobs, finances, medical care, and protection, ask as a son or daughter through Jesus Christ, not as one whose highest good is comfort. The body is to be cared for, but not for the lusts of the flesh. It is good to use food, drink, and medicine for health. Paul told Timothy to take a little wine for his stomach. It is another thing to live softly and inflame desire. Pray for daily bread and for strength to work, but spend far more labor on the soul.

Your prayer for your household is also right. The Apostle says that the one who does not provide for his own has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. That provision is not only money and food. It includes the soul. Read the Scriptures with your family, speak of Christ to them, and live what you teach. Do not simply ask God to give them understanding while you keep silent or live carelessly. True wisdom is not the wisdom of this world. The wisdom of the world thinks the cross is foolishness, but the cross is the wisdom and power of God. Seek that wisdom. Let your family hear of Christ crucified, who was made sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. That is the gospel that saves, not a mere habit of Bible reading, though reading is good and useful. Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

Concerning work and finances, it is lawful to ask for jobs, for salary, for benefits, and for wise use of what God gives. But do not let the search for provision become a love of ease. Do not barter away the salvation of God for a soft life. Do not say that the strict commands of the Apostle are for monastics only. He wrote to all in the world. The man who lives in the city has allowance for marriage, but in other matters he is to obey equally. Look for work diligently, accept what God gives, provide for your own, and give to those in need. Pray about medical enrollment and operations without shame. God does not despise the body He created. Yet even here seek health for service, not for wantonness. Going to the gym and eating healthy are good if they keep the body fit for obedience, not if they feed vanity or lust.

Your prayer for your local region is commanded by the prophet Jeremiah. Seek the welfare of the city, and pray for your neighbors, students, teachers, workers, leaders, and law enforcement. Ask the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Ask the Father to draw sinners to His Son. Ask for repentance and saving faith, for these are gifts. But do not only ask for a wall of fire and remain idle. The wall of fire preserves those who are inside it and who walk in faith and holiness. Speak the gospel. Tell your neighbors that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He rose again. Do not hide behind a Bible app. Read it, yes, but open your mouth to your family and friends. The Canaanite woman was called a dog, and still she persisted until she received the children’s bread. You and I are no more worthy than she. Persevere in prayer, not because you deserve, but because Christ is merciful.

I join you in asking the Father to give you and your household wisdom, daily bread, and protection from the evil one. May He grant you to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and then to receive all that is needful in His time.
