๐Ÿ“– "Pray then after this manner:

๐Ÿ™Œ โ€˜Our Father who is in Heaven,
๐Ÿ™ Your Name be Honored!
Your kingdom Come!
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
<โ€”โ€”โ€”--------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”>
๐Ÿ™ Give us our daily bread.
Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ.

๐Ÿ™Œ For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We are deeply encouraged by your focus on seeking Godโ€™s glory first in prayer, as modeled in the Lordโ€™s Prayer. You rightly highlight Matthew 6:9-13, where Jesus teaches us to prioritize the Fatherโ€™s name, kingdom, and will before presenting our own needs. This aligns perfectly with His command in Matthew 6:33: "But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." What a beautiful reminder that prayer is not merely about our requests but about aligning our hearts with Godโ€™s purposes!

The structure of the Lordโ€™s Prayer is profound, it begins with worship ("Hallowed be Your name"), surrender ("Your kingdom come, Your will be done"), and only then moves to provision, forgiveness, and protection. This order reflects the heart of a true disciple: one who trusts that Godโ€™s glory and His will are the foundation for all else. When we pray this way, we acknowledge that our needs are secondary to His sovereignty and that His provision flows from His perfect wisdom, not our demands.

We also note your inclusion of "in Jesusโ€™ Name" at the close of your prayer. This is vital, for Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in My name, He will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in My name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14). There is no access to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6), and no salvation apart from Him (Acts 4:12). It is only by His grace and through faith in His finished work on the cross that we can approach Godโ€™s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray together, lifting up this truth before the Lord:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of prayer, this sacred privilege to commune with You. We thank You for the example of Your Son, Jesus, who taught us to seek Your glory above all else. Lord, forgive us for the times we have rushed into prayer with our lists of wants, forgetting to first honor Your name and surrender to Your will. Teach us to pray as Jesus did, with reverence, trust, and a deep desire to see Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

We ask that You would align our hearts with Yours, that our prayers would reflect Your priorities, not our own. Give us the faith to believe that when we seek You first, all else will be added unto us. Help us to trust in Your provision, Your forgiveness, and Your protection, knowing that You are a good Father who delights in giving good gifts to Your children (Matthew 7:11).

We pray for all who are learning to pray, that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. May Your Spirit draw them to repentance and faith, that they might experience the joy of relationship with You.

Father, we declare that Your kingdom is advancing, Your will is being done, and Your glory is being revealed in every corner of the earth. May our lives and our prayers be a testament to Your goodness and grace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

May we continue to grow in prayer, always remembering that the goal is not just to receive answers but to draw nearer to the One who answers. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that as we seek Him first, He will faithfully provide for all our needs.

What a beautiful way to come before the Lord. We love how youโ€™ve put His glory, kingdom, and will at the very center before anything else. That is not just a pattern, itโ€™s a realignment of the heart. When we begin with our Fatherโ€™s name and purposes, the rest of our asking finds its right place. Our daily needs, our forgiveness, our battles with temptation, they are all held within His bigger story.

We are grateful that you have reminded us of this today. There is something steadier about our prayers when we donโ€™t rush to present our list but first dwell in who He is. And the promise youโ€™re leaning into from Matthew 6:33 is true: as we seek His kingdom first, He does care for the rest. That is not a formula we manipulate but an invitation to trust.

Letโ€™s join you in that same spirit, not adding much, simply praying along with you now.

Our Father, we honor Your name. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done here, in us, as it is in heaven. Thank You that we can ask for daily bread, for the forgiveness we so deeply need, and for deliverance from evil. We bring these things to You with open hands, confident that the kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to You forever. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

To set the Fatherโ€™s glory first is to take your place among those who have learned the true mode of prayer. Many begin with their own needs and never rise to the high petition, โ€œShow me Your glory,โ€ yet that is the noblest cry of the renewed soul. When you honor His name, long for His kingdom, and bow to His will, you are asking for what Moses longed to see, the goodness and sovereignty of God blazing together. That is the sunlight of His face; all else is shadow until this shines.

The prayer you have lifted, โ€œOur Father who is in Heavenโ€, is indeed the pattern, but let it never be a mere form of words. You might as well stand on a hill and talk to the moon as hurry through that sacred prayer and think you have prayed. Prayer is the falling of a tear, the cry of โ€œLord, save me,โ€ or โ€œLord, help me!โ€ It is the direct speaking of the soul to the living God. There is no comfort in any devotion that does not bring Christ and the suppliant together with that little link, โ€œLordโ€ and โ€œme.โ€

You plead for daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance, and well you may, for these are the common necessities of erring mortals. But observe the order: His glory first, then all these things added. Seek that kingdom, and your Father knows what you need. Yet do not think that a single utterance suffices. We are bid to call upon Him, and He promises to answer and show great and mighty things we know not. That promise calls for importunity, for the knock that continues until the door opens, for the sevenfold looking out for the cloud of mercy.

Take this as your constant posture: agonize with Christ in the mountain of prayer, making your requests known with vehemence, yet ever in submission to His will. The golden key of prayer unlocks the treasury of grace, but it must be grasped by a hand that yields to divine sovereignty. When you have pleaded โ€œYour will be done,โ€ go on to ask for your bread and your pardon with a bold humility, for it is your Fatherโ€™s good pleasure to give.

Remember, the power of prayer moves the arm that moves the world. Are you a sinner looking for a Savior? The briefest cry, โ€œLord, save meโ€, pierces the clouds. Are you His child, burdened with care? Let the clock tick remind you to whisper, โ€œLord, help me!โ€ That prayer will do to live by and to die with. It suits every place and every hour.

Only see to it that you are really speaking with God. Do not content yourself with past answers, but double your request. Make every mercy a stepping-stone to plead for yet larger views of His glory. And as you wait for the full answer, be quickened by the Spirit, for without that, even the Church cannot do the great deeds God intends.

Now, may the God of peace be with you, and may His goodness pass before you until you behold something of His glory. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How right it is to set the glory of the Father and the coming of His kingdom above all earthly cares. When we pray, โ€œThy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,โ€ we are called to match the zeal of the angels, yet the Lord knows our frame. He sees that we are bound to this flesh and subject to the tyranny of natural needs, so He condescends to our infirmity. He does not command us to ask for riches, for sumptuous fare, or for fine clothing, but simply for bread, our daily bread, the bread for one day. In this He teaches us not to be anxious for the morrow. At the same time He grants us liberty, yet fastens our souls on what is truly necessary.

And what mercy is this! We who once sat in darkness, at enmity with God, alienated and lost, have been counted worthy of forgiveness, of the Spirit, of adoption, of the kingdom of heaven, and of unutterable mysteries. He shed abroad His Spirit into our hearts; He gave us a baptism that remits sins and delivers us from vengeance. Such gifts should move us to cling to Him alone and to forgive every debt others owe us, mindful of the great debt He forgave us.

So when you pray after this manner, let your first and constant desire be the hallowing of His name and the doing of His will. Then, with all simplicity, ask for your daily sustenance, trusting that all else will be added. For He who gave the greater gifts will not deny the lesser.

Thank you for sending this. The prayer you shared captures the very order Jesus taught us to bring our hearts into. When we pray, โ€œOur Father, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done,โ€ we are deliberately putting Godโ€™s glory and His purposes first, before we breathe a word about our own lack. That is not just a formula; it is a fundamental reorientation. So often we rush straight to what we need, but He calls us to begin by being swallowed up in who He is and what He is doing. Out of that place, we can ask rightly for daily bread, forgiveness, and protection.

That phrase โ€œdaily breadโ€ opens up something much deeper than food on the table. Jesus once told the crowds that Moses did not give them the true bread from heaven; His Father was giving them the true bread, the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. He is the living bread. Our physical hunger is real, and the Father knows we have need of these things, yet every meal is meant to point us to Christ. When we eat of Him, when we feed on His Word, trust His broken body, and abide in Him, we are nourished in a way that earthly bread could never accomplish. So as you ask for provision, let your soul cling first to the Bread of life, and trust that all these lesser needs will be added to you.

Your prayer also reminds us to ask for forgiveness and deliverance from temptation. Notice how these are linked. Forgiveness is not found in defending ourselves or minimizing our sin; it comes when we bring the transgression into the open and confess it. As long as we excuse it, we block the cleansing God wants to work. And as we receive that mercy, we begin to release others from their debts, because we have all partaken of one broken loaf. In the Lordโ€™s Supper, the same bread becomes part of each of us, making us one body. Holding onto an offense while sharing that one bread is a denial of the very unity it creates.

Then comes the plea: โ€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.โ€ Temptation is that pull toward an easy shortcut, a way to get what the flesh craves by stepping off the path of the Spirit. When the enemy urged Jesus to command stones into bread, the suggestion was to use His divine power to satisfy a physical hunger immediately, by His own hand instead of His Fatherโ€™s. Jesus refused. The testing itself was not sin; the danger was in giving in and allowing the flesh to dictate the response. God is faithful. With every temptation He provides an escape route. The real battle is whether I will walk in the Spirit or cave to the flesh. When we respond with patience, kindness, and trust while we wait on Him, we find peace; when we react in the flesh, we taste nothing but regret.

So keep this order, because it is the order of life. Put the Fatherโ€™s honor, kingdom, and will first. Then everything else, bread, forgiveness, victory over evil, flows from a heart that is fixed on Him. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all that we need for body and soul will be supplied. Let your deepest hunger always be satisfied in Christ, the true bread from heaven, and let that prayer shape you every day.
