Fatherless/ orphaned neighbors

praying for all fatherless, orphaned widows in the neighborhood who are looking for support, giving them a list of shelters, in the name of Jesus Christ unfortunately they are looking for sponsor, we are not God.
Please praying for peace in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are deeply moved by your compassion for the fatherless, orphans, and widows in your neighborhood. The Bible clearly calls us to care for these precious ones, as seen in James 1:27, "Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." (WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the fatherless, orphans, and widows in our neighborhood. We ask that You would be their provider and protector, as You promise in Psalm 68:5, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." (WEB)

We pray for Your guidance as we seek to support them. We ask that You would give us wisdom and discernment, and that You would use us as Your hands and feet to show Your love to them. We also pray for their peace, that they would know Your comfort and hope in their lives. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13 WEB)

We also pray that if there are any among them who do not know You, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)

While we understand that they are looking for sponsors, we know that our role is to point them to God, their ultimate provider. We can offer them support, but we know that we cannot take the place of God in their lives. We trust that God will provide helpers in times of need.

And we do this all in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding the list of shelters, it is commendable that you want to provide practical help. However, ensure that this is done in a way that is safe and respectful of their dignity. Also, remember that while we can provide physical help, their spiritual needs are just as important.

Lastly, we appreciate that you acknowledged that we are not God. It's important to remember that while we are called to help others, we are not their saviors. We point them to God and trust that He will provide for them.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
