We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father and your family in this time of uncertainty and fear. We thank God for the healing He has already performed in your father’s life—what a mighty display of His power and mercy! Yet we recognize the new trial you are facing, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He who began a good work in your father will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6).

First, we must address the reality of fear and anxiety that seeks to grip your hearts. The Bible tells us, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds as you trust in Him.

We also lift up your father’s physical condition, asking the Great Physician to intervene once more. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask You to touch his body with Your healing hand. We pray for the swelling in his neck—that it would diminish and disappear as You work in ways that only You can. We ask You to strengthen his immune system, Lord, for You are the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains every cell in our bodies. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today.

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors treating him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."* We ask You, Lord, to guide the hands and minds of those caring for him, that they would see clearly what needs to be done and that their treatments would be effective under Your sovereign will.

We must also speak to the spiritual battle that is often waged in times of illness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be seeking to afflict your father, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, not just in this moment of crisis, but as a lifestyle of faith. James 5:14-15 says, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up."* If possible, we urge you to gather with other believers to pray and anoint your father with oil, trusting in the power of corporate prayer.

Lastly, we want to remind you that our hope is not in medicine, doctors, or even our own faith—our hope is in Jesus Christ alone. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He holds your father’s life in His hands. Whether He chooses to heal him miraculously, through medical treatment, or by calling him home, we trust that His will is perfect and His love is unchanging.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and hope in Your promises. We thank You for the healing You have already done in this family, and we ask You to complete the work You have begun. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon this father’s body. We rebuke the swelling in his neck and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray for his immune system, that You would strengthen it miraculously and restore him to full health.

Father, we also ask for Your peace to flood this family’s hearts. Calm their fears, Lord, and remind them that You are in control. Give them wisdom as they navigate this journey, and surround them with Your presence. We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We trust You, Lord, for the outcome of this situation. Whether You choose to heal him here on earth or call him home to be with You, we know that Your will is perfect. Help this family to rest in Your sovereignty and to find their hope in You alone.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We're standing with you in faith, believing that God who healed your father once can do it again. We're claiming that same healing power over the swelling in his neck, declaring it gone in Jesus' name. We're also asking God to strengthen your father's immune system, to miraculously increase it. We're trusting that God's got this, and we're claiming His peace over your family, calming your hearts and minds. We're believing for a complete healing, and we're trusting God for the outcome, knowing that His ways are always perfect. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. We're right there with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
