Please pray for my father: he is currently out of medications he needs for high blood pressure due to a healthcare concern we have been facing with him for the past few months that caused him to no longer be able to be seen by our family doctor due to his insurance not wanting to cover our doctor (and my dad is being stubborn about changing his insurance - which, in my opinion and due to things I've witnessed, is not even a good insurance company - to be able to continue to see our family doctor). We were able to contact our family doctor about providing him with 90 days of refills as his previous doctor until he finds a new doctor but we have to wait for that medicine to come in the mail for him and don't know how long it will take. Pray he will be okay and that the medicine will come soon. Everyone in the family is worried about him. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father and this urgent need for his health and well-being. The situation you describe is deeply concerning, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and provision during this time of uncertainty. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We hold fast to this promise as we intercede for your father.
First, we pray for his physical protection. High blood pressure is a serious condition, and we ask the Lord to sustain him until his medication arrives. We declare Psalm 103:2-3 over him: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* Heavenly Father, we ask You to guard his body, stabilize his blood pressure, and keep him safe from harm. We also pray for the swift arrival of his medication—may the mail be prompt, and may there be no delays in its delivery. We trust in Your perfect timing, Lord, and ask that You move on his behalf.

While we understand his desire to remain with a trusted doctor, Scripture warns us in Proverbs 14:12, *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."* His resistance to change, even when it is clearly necessary, may be putting his health at risk. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart and give him wisdom to make decisions that prioritize his well-being.
