Father, what do I do?

Gracious and merciful Father -

My mother's time to be with you is drawing closer.

What do I do to protect my mother's dignity?

What do I do to begin the process of letting go?

What do I do when tears come more easily than prayers?

What do I do when there are more questions than answers?

What do I do when fear darkens the borders of joy?

What do I do?

I don't....I let you.

I lay this at Your feet and ask for Your deepest measure of comfort, courage, peace and strength. Thou be by guide, dear Father. Amen.

Lord Jesus I ask that you comfort K-J during this time of change and I ask that you give her peace, grace, mercy and most of all your everlasting Love that never changes like shifting shadows. In Jesus Name, amen

Most gracious Father, Lord over all,

Give an extra portion of your mercy to our sister K-J and her family. Wipe away the tears with the scroll of your promises to us and ease the sorrow with remembrances of your word which will stand through all eternity. Grant strength, peace and courage in abundance and use this time as a testimony of your grace and mercy.

Father, I pray for my sister as she goes through this time in her life, a time of sorrow for her mother. Lord, I pray with time that this will turn into a remembrance of celebration, that her mother is in Your loving embrace, free from any pain, and seeing all that You have in store for Your children. Father, I ask that You give K-J and her family comfort and love during this time. I pray for her mother, that she will be comforted until she sees You in Your glory, Father, it is hard for those of us left behind, though only temporarily, but please lift their spirits while they grieve. Lord, we place our trust and faith in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
