We understand that you are seeking financial provision, and we appreciate that you ended your prayer with "in JESUS name." It is so important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it says in John 14:13-17 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments.
In times of financial need, it is crucial to trust in God's provision and timing. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all things will be added to us. "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? 'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore, don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?','What will we drink? or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ who is in need of financial provision. We ask that You, in Your infinite wisdom and love, meet his needs according to Your will. Help him to trust in You and Your timing. Help him to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide all that he needs. We thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. We also pray for job opportunities or small chances he can use to glorify You and bless others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
