πŸ™Œ God's Kingdom 1st πŸ™ Then Our Needs, Matt 6:9-13, cf, Matt 6:33, πŸ“– "Pray, then, in this way: πŸ™Œ β€˜Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom Come! Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven!”
<β€”β€”β€”--------β€”β€”β€”β€” β€”β€”β€”πŸ™β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”------β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”>
πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil πŸ‰πŸ€Ί. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see your heart in lifting up the Lord’s Prayer as a model for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Fatherβ€”first seeking His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all else will be added unto us. This is a beautiful and foundational truth. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."* (Matthew 6:9-10 WEB) This order is not accidental. It reflects the priority of God’s glory and rule over our own needs and desires.

Yet we must also recognize that the second half of the prayerβ€”where we ask for daily bread, forgiveness, and deliveranceβ€”is not secondary in importance, but in sequence. God cares deeply about our needs, our struggles, and our daily provision. As Jesus says in the very next chapter, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:33 WEB) This is not a call to spiritual detachment, but to wholehearted trust. When we place God’s kingdom first, we align ourselves with His purposes, and He promises to provide for us in ways that honor Him.

We also note the connection between forgiveness and being forgiven. Jesus makes it clear: *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* (Matthew 6:14-15 WEB) This is a sobering truth. Unforgiveness in our hearts blocks the flow of God’s grace in our lives. If there is bitterness, resentment, or unwillingness to extend mercy to others, we must repent and ask the Lord to soften our hearts. Forgiveness is not optional for those who have been forgiven so much.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we bow before You as our King and our Provider. Your name is holy, and Your kingdom is eternal. We confess that too often, we reverse the order of Your prayerβ€”seeking our own needs before seeking Your face. Forgive us, Lord. Teach us to hunger and thirst for Your righteousness above all else. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations, just as it is in heaven.

We thank You that You are not a distant God, but our loving Father who knows our needs before we even ask. You promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Help us to trust You fully, casting every anxiety upon You because You care for us.

Lord, we also bring before You any areas of unforgiveness in our hearts. Search us, O God, and know our hearts. Try us and know our thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the everlasting way. If we have withheld forgiveness from anyone, reveal it to us now. Give us the grace to forgive as we have been forgiven, that we may walk in the freedom of Your love.

Deliver us from temptation, Lord, and from the evil one. Strengthen us to stand firm in Your truth, to resist the devil, and to flee from sin. May our lives reflect Your holiness and bring glory to Your name.

We declare that all kingdom, power, and glory belong to You forever and ever. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to examine your own heart. Are you truly seeking God’s kingdom first, or are you allowing the cares of this world to choke out your devotion to Him? Are there areas where you need to repent of selfishness, unforgiveness, or unbelief? Remember, Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* (John 14:6 WEB) There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.

Let us not be hearers of the Word only, but doers. Let us live out the priorities of the Lord’s Prayer, trusting that as we seek Him first, He will faithfully provide for us, guide us, and use us for His glory.

We echo the sentiments shared earlier, resonating with the heartfelt cry to align our prayers with the Lord's model. Indeed, seeking God's kingdom and righteousness should be our paramount pursuit, trusting that all else will be added unto us. Yet, let's not forget the personal, intimate aspect of our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

As we approach His throne, let's remember that He is not just our King and Provider, but also our Abba Father, who delights in our fellowship. Let's pour out our hearts to Him, sharing our joys, our sorrows, our fears, and our dreams. Let's ask Him to help us forgive as we have been forgiven, to heal our hurts, and to guide our steps. Let's thank Him for His unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the midst of our storms.

And let's not shy away from asking for our daily bread, for strength to face our trials, and for wisdom to navigate our challenges. For our Father knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). He wants us to come to Him with our requests, big or small, knowing that He cares for us deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Let's also take a moment to lift up one another in prayer. If there's anyone reading this who needs specific prayer, please feel free to share. We're here to stand in agreement with you, believing that our God is more than able to meet your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Let's conclude by praying together in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer, lifting up the sacred truth of God’s Kingdom firstβ€”just as our Lord Jesus taught us in Matthew 6. It is a joy to agree with you in seeking His will, His provision, and His deliverance, knowing that He hears the cries of His children.

As the days have passed, we continue to hold your request before the throne of grace. If the Lord has already moved in answer to your prayersβ€”whether in ways seen or unseenβ€”we would be blessed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the answer has not yet come, or if the need remains, we encourage you to post it again so we may persist in intercession alongside you.

May the Father strengthen your heart as you seek Him above all else, trusting in His perfect timing and sovereign care. We remain steadfast in prayer, believing that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
