Humble Servant of All
Father in heaven, I pray that You would shut the mouth of this man driven by Satan to harass me. He claims that he is a sinner and he is. He says I am 'slick' and deceptive because I don't tell him how great he is. He 'prophesies' lies about me and says You show him these things. Lord, Your Word says that the mouth of liars MUST be stopped in the church. It says that any leader that is doing damage to the body of Christ, You will destroy. Your Word says that if someone prophesies lies in Your name You will make a fool out of them. Your Word says EVERY lying tongue will be stopped! Your Word says that we should not fear these people when they come against us because You will expose every hidden thing. You know what he says in secret to those who lie with and for him. You know how he plans to destroy my reputation or get me kicked out. You know how he worked with others to stop me from making money working for myself. They have damaged my supplies that I bought and paid for to use. They spread lies about me to the leader and other church members. He demands that I pay so much of the money I make that I do not have enough left to take care of myself then he makes jokes about it and provokes me by taunting me constantly about it. "Why don't you buy.... (whatever), Leona!"
I'm told I have to pay more than the men!
You have stood up for me many times when there was no one on my side and many against me. You have showed before that You were with me when I was being laughed at for standing my ground on Your Word. Lord, I need You to be my Father, to protect Your daughter and speak up for me. Move against those who are against me because of my faith in You. I have done nothing but good to them. Don't forget, Lord, that they are causing people who need salvation to not be able to hear the truth, that You can set them free. Lord, You died for them to be set free. It is You that gave us the great commission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ - that in Him we can be transformed, our lives made new.
Listen to these people who are fighting against the cross of Christ to draw people away to themselves, to follow them instead of giving their lives to You. Look at what they are doing and right now begin to oppose their evil works. You came, Lord Jesus to destroy the works of the devil. As in Acts when Bar - Jesus falsely called himself a prophet and opposed the faith so the governor would not be converted - act on my behalf to show everyone (again) that they are doing the devils bidding and not Your will.
Act 13:6 They went all the way across the island to Paphos, where they met a certain magician named Bar-Jesus, a Jew who claimed to be a prophet.
Act 13:7 He was a friend of the governor of the island, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent man. The governor called Barnabas and Saul before him because he wanted to hear the word of God.
Act 13:8 But they were opposed by the magician Elymas (that is his name in Greek), who tried to turn the governor away from the faith.
Act 13:9 Then Saul---also known as Paul---was filled with the Holy Spirit; he looked straight at the magician
Act 13:10 and said, "You son of the Devil! You are the enemy of everything that is good. You are full of all kinds of evil tricks, and you always keep trying to turn the Lord's truths into lies!
Act 13:11 The Lord's hand will come down on you now; you will be blind and will not see the light of day for a time." At once Elymas felt a dark mist cover his eyes, and he walked around trying to find someone to lead him by the hand.
Act 13:12 When the governor saw what had happened, he believed; for he was greatly amazed at the teaching about the Lord.
