Father, I thank you for the privilege of being called your child. I was entrapped in sin, but you have redeemed me and brought me to the light that I may no longer live for me but that I may start living for your glory.
Father, I pray that your name be glorified in my life. Let everything that I do be of honor to you. Father, may all that I do bring you the respect, honor, and reverence you deserve. I need you, Lord. I need you to be the center and focus for my life. Nothing else matters. If you are not the center, I am simply wasting my life here on earth.
Father, I pray that your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven, that your works may be seen that we may see you here.
Father, I pray for the fulfillment of your will in my life. I am very young as a Christian. I struggle to know your will so many times, but Father, you are the one directing our paths and you are the one who holds my life. Help me, Father, to pursue your will and purpose for me as the only goal in my life. I am tired of pursuing other people's will. I need your will, Lord, to be all that I focus on.
Father, I come to you today to pray for the different needs that I have for my life and in the lives of those around me.
Father, I have a Psychiatry exam next week. I am yet to prepare. I have fallen yet again into the trap of the enemy and I am struggling to find my ground. Help me, Father, help me be able to study adequately within these few days that I have with me. Help me grasp all the material that I need to know. Help me grab hold of it and never let go. Give me the strength to achieve everything that I am aiming for. Help me work hard and give my best. But most importantly, Father, I pray that your hand be on everything that I do. From the preparations to the final oral exam. Help me surpass expectations and give you glory, Father. Help me be a winner because the victory is for your glory.
Father, I pray to you yet again. I have lost hope in becoming a medical doctor. Satan has infiltrated strong lies into my head that I cannot do it, that I cannot become a good medical doctor. Unfortunately, I ended up believing these lies. But Father, you have not brought me here just to pass the time and waste it. I believe that you purposed this journey so that you may use me for a purpose. Father, I thus pray for strength. Father, I pray for direction. Father, help me have the knowledge that I need to have, help me have the skills that I need to have. Please help me have that caring attitude that I need to have to get by. I struggle in catching up with the rest of the group. That has been the case since the first year. But Father, you are the one who has helped me pass to the highest of standards in the past. This is not too big for you. I need you to help me. My own strength is insufficient to get through this. Father, I don't want to come out of this a failure. I don't want to waste my time here in medical school. I don't want it to be in vain.
Help me, Father, be successful for your glory.
Father, I pray for the character of Christ to be built in me. I have been shamefully timid, shy, running away from tough times, anxious, and fearful.
Father, help me be bold, confident, and fearless. I am tired of giving in to my fears. I am tired of making myself look like an accident waiting to happen. Father, I don't want to continue living as though you have never blessed me, as though I were an unbeliever.
I have realized I am incompatible with this world. I have lost so much of what I held dear. I can hardly talk to people now, I can hardly relate with them. I don't know how to talk to others, and it seems like I have been ostracized. Lord, I still have you. I want you to be the first one in my life. I need to be closer to you instead of trying too hard to be closer to people. Father, give me strength to have peace with you, peace in serving you and pursuing a life of strength and character with you.
Help me, Father. Help me fill this emptiness inside of me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit that I may be made well.
I am tired of vain pursuits that drag me farther away from you. I need to have you as my priority, my everything.
Father, I struggle in how I relate to other people, especially my roommate. At first, I thought we would be very good friends. We both love you. He has more experience than me in Christ. It turns out that now I find him unbearable and end up in long arguments with him most of the times over silly things. Forgive me for the immaturity I have shown. Most of the time, I have been the problem. It is so hard living with other people. I don't know how to do it. Father, I repent for a few days ago, I yelled at him and it turns out I was the one who did the mistake. I am sorry because I have caused him to sin a few times. I have been a bad roommate and Father, Satan is still on a mission to destroy this, but Lord, I come to you humbly asking you to take over. Please help me that the good relationship may be restored. Help me have the appropriate responses and not sin against you with my words, thoughts, or actions.
I will do my part by going to study away from the room. It helps me focus more, and also reduce the time I interact with him so that at least fewer things may arise. I really don't want to continue living like this. Father, I pray that you help me live the right way and not be an obstacle. Help him forgive me for how I have wronged him.
Father, I pray for the future spouse that you have prepared for me. You have shown me that I am definitely not ready for a relationship right now. I am not acting the right way and my life is a mess. But Father, I pray that you mold me into the right way of acting and behaving that I may reflect the character of Christ. Help me be focused on things that are unseen because these things are eternal. Help me find a girl who loves you, a girl who is focused on seeking your face, that we may come together and help each other even more, to be conformed into the image of Christ. Help us raise children who will live to love and serve the Lord with great zeal and honor.
Father, I pray for help in my prayer life. It is true that I have not been praying as much as I should. Father, forgive me for how slack I have been in this crucial area in my life. Father, I need to communicate with you to live. I have not been doing that and as a result, I have been falling into the same traps over and over again. Help me that every day I may start by setting apart 30 minutes for prayer which will increase as time goes by. I want to talk to you. To know your will and seek your purpose for me, that you may direct my steps in righteousness. Help me seek you more and more.
Father, I pray for the physical healing and transformation. Help me be more healthy and strong. Help me change in all the ways I can be used for the purpose ahead of me. I am ready for whatever change that you will bring. I will play my part and give it my best. Heal me, Lord, and I shall be healed, touch me and I shall be saved for you are my joy.
Father, I thank you for I believe my prayers have been heard. I thank you for your purpose for me shall be fulfilled. I don't have to live in depression. I don't have to live in negativity. I choose to live in faith, because without faith it is impossible to please God.
Help me abide in you and you alone. I thank you, Father, for the great works you have done and still do. I pray this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
