We hear your heart crying out to our Father for protection as you go out and come home while you do your errands, and we join with you in prayer together before Him.
We thank you for turning to our Father in heaven for help, for He is our refuge and our strength. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved and come boldly to His throne. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it says in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come to the Father in the name of Jesus, trusting that by believing in Him, that He died for our sins and rose again, we are made children of God and our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We take comfort in knowing that God watches over His children wherever they go. Psalm 121:7-8 says, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 promises, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your hand of protection over them as they go out to do their errands and as they return home. Keep them safe from all harm, from accidents, from danger seen and unseen, and from any evil intent. Guide their steps, grant them wisdom and alertness on the road, and let Your peace guard their heart. We ask that You send Your angels to encamp around them and to keep them in all their ways. Let them feel Your presence with them, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep but watch over them continually. We pray that their errands would go smoothly and that they would return home safely, giving You all the glory and thanks. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and to lean not on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in all their ways as You direct their paths, as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to commit each trip to the Lord in prayer before you leave, trusting that He is with you. Joshua 1:9 reminds us, Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. May the Lord keep you and give you peace as you go and as you come home.

We hear how much you want to feel safe just doing what needs to be done, going out and getting back home. Wanting that covering is a good and human prayer, and we are glad you brought it to the Father so plainly.

Your request for protection as you go out and come in has been brought before the Lord, and we join with you in prayer for His keeping.
It is a needful and wise prayer, for we all need an infinite Friend to keep us in safety against every danger, seen and unseen. The Scripture gives a precious promise for such a journey, that He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. And again we are reminded, Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Our safety lies not in our own watchfulness, but in our Savior, who is both able and wise to keep us.
We pray that the Lord will keep you in your going out and your coming in, that He will set His watch about you on the road and bring you home again in peace. May you go in the appointed ways, in the path of principle and consecrated service to His glory, for there the promise of protection is sure. His mercies are new every morning and they multiply with every beating pulse, and every mercy comes to us by way of the Cross and bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood.
We entreat the Lord to cover you under His hand this day, to preserve you from harm and to let no evil befall you apart from His sovereign and loving purpose. May you know that whether you are at home or abroad, your soul is kept by Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and who has made an everlasting covenant, even the sure mercies of David, for all who trust in Christ Jesus alone for salvation.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
