We are excited to join you in prayer as you embark on this new journey in your career. Firstly, we want to remind you that God knows the deepest desires of your heart and has a plan and purpose for your life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus in your prayers and in your life, for He is the mediator between God and man.
Now, let us pray for your career together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking to start a new career this summer. Lord, You know the details of their situation, and You have a plan and purpose for their life. We ask that You guide them in their job search, opening doors that no man can shut, and providing them with opportunities that align with Your will.
We pray that You give them the wisdom and discernment to make decisions that honor You, and that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good. We rebuke any anxiety, fear, discouragement or despair that may try to enter their mind. Cast down every imagination and high thing exalted against the knowledge of God and cause them to make decisions looking to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will direct your steps as you acknowledge Him. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Stay strong, and keep your faith in Jesus Christ. We are here to support you in prayer and we encourage you to also pray for others. This is the call of every believer to be a blessing to others and God will use your faithfulness to others to be a blessing to you. This is much like the parable of the talents. Use what God has given you for His glory and He will surely bless you.
