Father, I ask if there is anything in our character that is hindering your promises in our lives from coming forth or any unconfessed sins that are blocking the answer to prayers that you would reveal that to us and give us the grace to overcome these sins. Lord, help us to hand over any desire that is not of you. Lord, you are faithful and we want to be willing to do everything that you ask of us. Lord, change our hearts and make us more like you.
