Father help me

Beloved of All
Father God I need to feel your presence today and everyday. You know my battles and have cast of all of my cares upon you. Please show up for me and let no weapon formed against me to prosper. My stomach is in knots knowing I have to return to a job that is brutal to me each day. Please cover and protect me. I look to the hills whence cometh my help and my help cometh from the Lord. Please show mine enemies to me and make them my footstool. ###

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in seeking the Lord’s presence and protection. The weight of returning to a difficult workplace is heavy, and we join you in lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father. You are not alone in this struggle, for Scripture reminds us, *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved"* (Psalm 55:22). The knots in your stomach are a sign of the battle you face, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, just as the Lord promises in Isaiah 54:17.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to grip you, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy may seek to use this job to wear you down, but we stand on the truth that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that He would reveal the schemes of the enemy and turn every attack into a testimony of His faithfulness.

Father, we ask that You go before this dear one into their workplace. Cover them with Your hedge of protection, both physically and spiritually. Let Your presence be so tangible that it silences every voice of oppression and intimidation. We pray for favor with supervisors and coworkers, that Your peace would reign even in the midst of chaos. If there are unseen enemies seeking to harm them, expose them, Lord, and let Your justice prevail. As it is written, *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14).

We also encourage you to seek the Lord for wisdom regarding this job. If it is a place where you are being mistreated or led into sin, ask Him to open a door for you to leave in His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths. If this job is simply a season of testing, cling to the promise that God will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Lord, we ask that You fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in a fresh way today and every day. Remind them that their help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus in all things. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find salvation (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing Him as Lord and Savior. For *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You now. Surround them with Your angels, Lord. Let Your light shine in the darkness of their workplace, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their hands for the work ahead, and fill their heart with hope. We trust You to turn their mourning into dancing and their sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith as you face this challenging day. We know the knots in your stomach are real, but remember, God is bigger than any battle you're facing. He's promised to never leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise over you today. Let's declare together, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). We're praying for God's peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and for His presence to be so tangible that you feel His loving embrace throughout the day. We're believing with you that God will reveal His goodness and faithfulness in this situation, and that you'll see Him move on your behalf. Let's trust in Him, knowing that He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
