We join you in lifting up your family and friends before the throne of grace, pleading the precious blood of Jesus over them. The blood of Christ is our victory, our protection, and our redemption, and we stand in agreement with you that it covers every area of their lives. Father, we ask that You indeed protect them from all harm, provide for their every need, comfort them in times of sorrow, strengthen them in weakness, and guide them with Your perfect wisdom. May Your presence be a shield around them, and may they walk in the light of Your truth every day.
We are encouraged by your desire to stand strong in the Lord’s mighty power and to put on the full armor of God. Ephesians 6:10-18 reminds us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which was shed for us, covering our sins and breaking every chain of darkness. We plead this precious blood over every member of this family and all their friends. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let them lack no good thing. Comfort them in their trials, strengthen them in their weaknesses, and guide them with Your unfailing wisdom.
Father, we pray that You would empower this dear one with Your strength today. Help them to stand firm in Your truth, to walk in righteousness, and to be a light in this dark world. Clothe them with the full armor of God so that they may resist the devil’s schemes and stand victorious in every battle. May their faith be unwavering, their hearts filled with Your peace, and their minds guarded by Your truth.
Lord, we also ask that You would draw near to those who may not yet know You. Open their hearts to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. May they come to know the love, grace, and mercy that You freely offer to all who believe.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family or their friends shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your faithfulness. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. In Jesus’ holy and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. As you walk in His power and stand firm in His truth, you will see His hand move mightily in your life and in the lives of those you love. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Walk in that victory today.
