Father God, Please Restore My Marriage

Out of the blue in August, my husband told me he wanted to separate from me, after 15 yrs of marriage. It was a complete shock. I later learned he was having an affair, and they are now living together. We are not yet divorced. My husband and I have had nothing but ugly, hurtful exchanges. He has completely abandoned me including financially. I am angry and very hurt. In Jesus' mighty name I pray that he becomes convicted of his sin, returns to the Lord, and returns to me. I pray our family comes back together with Christ as the focal point of our marriage. I pray to accept God's will but my sincere desire is for our marriage to be restored thru Jesus. Praise for all the support I've received -- emotional, prayerful, financial.

Dear Katerina,  I have been in a similar situation and I found a lot of free, Christian help from Restore Ministries International.  The women who volunteer there have all had these kinds of experiences and there are many, many restored testimonies.  It has changed my life and empowered me when I felt hopeless, alone, and in breathtaking pain.  I know you are brokenhearted, but that's the best place to be so the Lord can build you back according to His Will on the rock of His Word.  Don't let anybody tell you this is hopeless!  With God, nothing is impossible! Luke 1:37.  He created marriage and wants to be the center of each marriage that He has joined together.  The very first thing I can tell you is to just be still.  Hard, so hard!!!  Don't contact your husband at all.  As you've seen, this only results in more turmoil at this stage.  If you stop engaging him, he will start to calm down, too.  Please go to -banned site-.com now!  You won't regret it.  Keep an open mind and just take in their help and information about God's plan for marriage.  I know it's hard (believe me...I lost 31 pounds in one month out of pure grief) but the Lord will be your strength.  You work with God, not God work with you.  He is in control...let Him speak to you through His Word and godly women who know the way.  Below is a link to the first chapter from a book from this site.  If you're like me, it will make you hunger for more.  I will continue to pray for you and your family!
