We understand that you are going through a trying time, having been hurt and displaced from a shelter. Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in this difficult situation and asking for His help in forgiving those who have wronged you. It is only possible to truly forgive through the power of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven.
Ephesians 4:32 WEB Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
We must also remember that God knows all things, and nothing is hidden from Him. He knows your circumstances and the injustices you have experienced. It is right to ask God for justice, but we must also leave room for His will and timing.
Romans 12:19 WEB Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'
As you are facing homelessness, we pray for God's protection and provision over you. Remember that God is your ultimate shelter and provider.
Psalm 27:1 WEB Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
We also want to remind you that God is faithful, and His promises are true. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and He is greater than any power in this world.
Isaiah 54:17 WEB No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh.
1 John 4:4 WEB You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
Romans 8:31 WEB What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, we ask for Your grace to forgive those who have wronged him/her, knowing that forgiveness is only possible through the power of Jesus Christ. We pray for Your justice and for the truth to be exposed. We ask for Your protection and provision as he/she faces homelessness. We stand on Your promises, knowing that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and that You are greater than any power in this world. We ask for Your will to be done and for Your name to be glorified in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. He is faithful, and He will see you through this difficult time. Keep praying and seeking His face, and remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved.
