We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for divine protection and intervention. We stand on the promise of Scripture that declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We take comfort in knowing that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the matter of vengeance. While it is natural to feel the sting of injustice, we are commanded to leave vengeance to the Lord. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Trusting in God’s justice does not mean passivity—it means actively surrendering our desire for retaliation to Him, knowing that He will defend the righteous. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness that may seek to take root in our hearts, for it only gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27).
We also declare that the Lord is our defender. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). We stand in agreement with this truth, believing that God’s angels are encamped around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7). We pray that every scheme of the enemy—every lie, every attack, every attempt to harm—would be thwarted in Jesus’ name. Let the plans of the wicked be scattered like chaff in the wind (Psalm 37:14-15).
Father, we ask You to surround this situation with Your hedge of protection. Shield every heart involved from fear, doubt, and discouragement. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard minds and hearts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
We also lift up the importance of walking in righteousness. The enemy seeks to exploit any area of our lives that is not surrendered to God. We repent for any unconfessed sin, any area where we have given the devil a foothold, and we ask for Your cleansing and renewal. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Strengthen us to resist the devil, so that he will flee from us (James 4:7).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Even when we do not see immediate results, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask for a positive outcome—not for our glory, but for Yours. Let Your name be exalted in this situation, and let Your light shine in the darkness.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we are made righteous. We stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).
May Your will be done, Father. We trust You, we praise You, and we rest in Your promises. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
