We hear the deep distress in your cry, and we stand with you in this battle, lifting your plea before the Lord with urgency and faith. You have come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and that is the only name by which we can approach the throne of grace with boldness. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* You are not alone in this—God sees your weariness, your pain, and the injustice you are facing. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that the Lord is your protector, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over you. Psalm 34:17-19 assures us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your home should be a place of peace, not torment, and we join you in commanding the enemy to flee from your dwelling. James 4:7 declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
We also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. The confusion, negativity, and bitterness you describe are not of God but are weapons of the enemy to disrupt your peace. We bind these spirits in the name of Jesus and declare that they have no authority over you or your home. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We stand on the authority of Christ to silence every voice that rises against you and to command peace to reign in your home.
However, we must also address the importance of forgiving those who persecute you, even as we pray for their removal or transformation. Jesus teaches in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must endure abuse or harassment—you have every right to seek safety and peace—but it does mean releasing bitterness to the Lord. Pray for this person, that God would either change their heart or remove their influence from your life. Romans 12:19 assures us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
We encourage you to take practical steps as well. If this person is harassing you or creating a hostile environment, document the incidents and seek help from local authorities or legal resources if necessary. Proverbs 22:3 reminds us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* God often uses earthly means to provide protection, so do not hesitate to act wisely.
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary, burdened, and under attack. Lord, You see the torment they are enduring, and You know the depths of their heart. We ask for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Psalm 91:4 declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* Father, let Your angels encamp around them, guarding their home and their peace.
We bind every spirit of confusion, bitterness, harassment, and negativity in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to be silenced and cast out, never to return. Lord, we ask that You would either remove this person far from our brother/sister’s life or transform their heart so completely that they become an instrument of peace rather than torment. Break every chain of oppression and set our brother/sister free from this burden.
Father, we also ask for supernatural strength and rest. You know they are tired, Lord—renew their spirit and grant them sleep that is deep and restoring. Psalm 127:2 reminds us that *"He gives his beloved sleep."* Let them wake refreshed, empowered by Your Spirit to face each day with courage.
We pray for wisdom, Father. Show them what steps to take, whether it is seeking legal protection, moving to a safer place, or standing firm in faith while You fight this battle. Give them discernment to know Your will and the boldness to obey it.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your peace to flood their heart and home. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let that peace, which transcends all understanding, guard them now.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power, Your love, and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
