We understand your desire to lose fat and maintain a healthy body. Let's bring this to the Lord together.
Firstly, we want to remind you that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This means we should take care of our bodies for God's glory.
However, we must also remember that our focus should not be merely on our outward appearance, but on our inner spiritual growth. As it says in 1 Peter 3:3-4 (WEB), "Let your beauty not be just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up this dear one who desires to lose fat and maintain a healthy body. We ask that you guide them with your wisdom in their food choices and exercise. Help them to make decisions that honor you, Lord. Most importantly, we pray that their inner person is renewed day by day, that they may grow in the likeness of Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we have access to God and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
