Father God as we fast and pray for all marriages around the world we lift up these couples by name. They have asked for your blessing on them as they stand for what you believe in - the sanity of marriage. Father give all of us the strength to see to completion the promises that you have places on our hearts Father. We know that your word does not go forth with out accomplishing what it was sent to do.
Each of us get tired and want to give up or have doubt at some point during our stand Father. When Satan starts to play with our mind and tries to plant seeds of doubt, apathy, there is something better, this is too hard, are you sure this is what you said - help us to recognize all these ploy for what they are. Help us to realize that Satan will use anyone and anything to discourage us, BUT GOD!!!! we know that you have already defeated Satan. That Satan has no control over us - your children.
As our spouses and the other person are under the control of Satan help us to remember that we are not fighting them and we are not engaged in a physical battle. This is a spiritual battle that we are waging war on. Your word tells us to resist Satan so let us continue to resist him. When he is in our face let us see him for who he is a spoiled child looking for attention.
We Pray for the salvation of our spouses and all that are affect by this situation Father. We pray for their salvation. We pray that they see that even though they may see happy it is not a happiness that will last because it is not build on the Rock - JESUS.
Teach each of us standing what we must do in order to give you the glory and Let our spouse Go so that you can work with them. You cannot work your glory while we are clinging so tight. Change us into the Godly spouses that you need us to be. Fill us with your love so that as our spouses are attracted to us they will see you. Forgive us daily of all the thought and actions that we contributed and still contribute to this situation that is not of you. Help us to bring every though and action into submission, so that we will be the light to this world for what you love and cherish so much.
Forgive us so that we can forgive our spouse just have you have forgiven us - UNCONDITIONALLY!! you didn't put conditions on us for our forgiveness and salvation so let us not hold anything against our spouses or give them conditional forgiveness.
Speak to our spouses and the people they are involved with. Send Godly people who can talk to them, send whoever it is that can talk to them, because we know how great you are and you and turn any situation around for your Glory.
Father you are our provider and healer and our spouse during this time. Keep us safe and provide for us according to you will. We know we will not need for anything as long as you are first Father. We may stumble but you will not let us fall. We know that joy comes in the morning and you have a plan for each of us to have and abundant life and for us to prosper. Help us to remember this when the bills are due, when we are lonely, when our children need shoes, when we are hungry. Remind us daily of you beautiful provision. That if you can take care of the sparrows and they have shelter and food so much more will you take care of us, because were are children.
So Father we humbly ask that you bless all of us and keep all of us. Bless our spouses and keep they safe as you guide them home to you Father.
