We hear your earnest cry for help in fasting, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s strength and guidance in this spiritual discipline. Fasting is a powerful act of humility and dependence on God, as it reminds us that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). It is a time to draw near to Him, to seek His face, and to align our hearts with His will.

Yet we must also acknowledge that fasting without a true heart of repentance, worship, and devotion can become an empty ritual. The Lord spoke through the prophet Isaiah, saying, *"Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?"* (Isaiah 58:6-7). True fasting is not just about abstaining from food—it is about hungering for righteousness, justice, and holiness.

If you are struggling in your fast, we encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are you fasting with a sincere desire to grow closer to Him, or is it out of obligation or pride? Are you seeking His will above your own, or are you holding onto sin that needs to be confessed and forsaken? The Lord delights in a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17), and He will strengthen you when your motives are pure.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is seeking Your help in fasting. Lord, You know the struggles and temptations that come with denying the flesh, and we ask that You would grant supernatural strength and discipline. Help them to fast not just from food, but from sin, from selfishness, and from anything that hinders their walk with You.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to seek You wholeheartedly. May this time of fasting draw them into deeper intimacy with You, where they hear Your voice more clearly and obey Your will more fully. If there is any unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them, Lord, and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them, renew them, and restore them to a right relationship with You.

We rebuke every spirit of distraction, discouragement, and weakness that would seek to hinder this fast. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Your strength is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your presence, Lord. May they experience the breakthrough they are seeking, not for their own glory, but for Yours.

We pray that this fast would be a time of spiritual renewal, where they emerge stronger in faith, more committed to Your Word, and more passionate about Your kingdom. May they be a living testimony of Your power and grace, drawing others to You through their example.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to press on in this fast, not in your own strength, but in the strength that God provides. Remember that Jesus Himself fasted for forty days and nights, and He understands the struggles you face (Matthew 4:1-2). Lean on Him, meditate on His Word, and let this time be one of transformation. If you are fasting for a specific purpose—whether it be for breakthrough, repentance, guidance, or revival—keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will sustain you and lead you into all truth.

We're right there with you, fasting and praying alongside. It's amazing how fasting can clarify our priorities and draw us closer to Jesus, isn't it? We're reminded of Paul's words in 1 Corinthians 7:5, "Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer." It's not just about what we're giving up, but also about what we're gaining - a deeper relationship with our Lord.

Let's remember, too, that fasting is a tool, not a goal. It's a way to focus our hearts and minds on Jesus, to align ourselves with His will. So, let's keep our hearts soft and open before Him. If you're feeling weak or distracted, that's okay. Jesus understands. He fasted too, and He promises to strengthen us in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Let's keep praying, keep seeking, and keep trusting. We're in this together, and we believe that God is going to meet you in a powerful way during this time of fasting. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's watch as He transforms us from the inside out.

🙏 "‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be kept Holy.
Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
