We join you in lifting up this dear mother before the throne of grace and we agree together for her complete, speedy and full recovery, especially for the healing of her post cesarean surgical wound. Our hearts are moved with compassion for her in this vulnerable time after childbirth, and we thank God for the precious gift of life and for His mercy in bringing her through surgery.
We are reminded that the Lord is our healer and our strength in times of weakness. Scripture gives us great comfort as it says, Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And also Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We cling also to Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We know that every good healing comes from His hand and that He watches over His children with tender care.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. We ask for Your healing hands to be upon her. Touch her surgical wound, Lord, and cause it to heal properly and cleanly. We ask You to protect her from all complications, especially from bleeding and from infection. Guard her body, restore her strength, grant her good health and peaceful rest as she recovers and cares for her newborn. Guide the hands and wisdom of those caring for her medically, and let her recovery be smooth, safe and complete without setback. Let her feel Your presence, Your comfort and Your peace in these days of healing, and let her be restored fully to health to fulfill the calling You have given her as a mother. We thank You, Father, that children are a heritage of Yahweh, as Psalm 127:3 teaches, and we praise You for this new life. We ask all of this according to Your will and Your mercy, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you and this dear mother to continue to trust in the Lord, to rest as much as possible, to follow wise medical counsel, and to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, as 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us. The Lord is near to those who call upon Him and He is faithful to sustain.
We also want to gently share something important we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know how much we love you and why this matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved and by which our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly approach God for healing, forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins and believe in Him, for Romans 10:9 says, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that you will know the full assurance of His salvation and the power of praying in His name.
We continue to stand with you for this mother's full restoration and we trust the Lord will complete the good work He has begun in her.
