We come before the Lord with you in deep intercession for your family, lifting up the burdens you carry and the spiritual battles you face. The enemy has sought to bring delay, setbacks, and a spirit of anti-marriage over your siblings, but we declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord has not forgotten you or your loved ones, and His timing is perfect, even when we do not understand the seasons of waiting.
First, we must address the foundation of all our prayers: it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your faith or that of your family is not firmly rooted in Jesus, we urge you to surrender fully to Him, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Salvation and breakthrough come through Christ alone, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace.
The spirit of anti-marriage you describe is a direct attack on God’s design for family and His covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. The Bible tells us that marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled (Hebrews 13:4). Satan seeks to distort and delay this sacred union because godly marriages reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-32). We rebuke this spirit in the name of Jesus and declare that the Lord will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). If there are any ungodly soul ties, past sins of fornication, or unrepentant hearts in your family, we urge repentance and cleansing, for the Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
For the delays and setbacks, we remind you that the Lord’s plans for your family are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Sometimes, what feels like a delay is actually God’s protection or preparation. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that the Lord will expose any hidden sins, generational curses, or strongholds that may be hindering progress. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife among siblings, we urge reconciliation, for a house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family and the spiritual battles they face. Lord, You are the God of breakthrough, and we ask that You shatter every chain of delay, setback, and anti-marriage that has bound them. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every generational stronghold, and every scheme of the enemy that has sought to hinder Your perfect will for this family.
Father, we pray for each sibling—soften their hearts to Your voice and align their steps with Your Word. If there is any sin, rebellion, or ungodly influence in their lives, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Restore the desire for godly marriage where it has been quenched, and let Your perfect timing prevail. Remove any distractions, wrong relationships, or worldly influences that have delayed Your blessings.
Lord, we ask for divine connections and godly spouses for those who are called to marriage. Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Surround this family with Your favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12) and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is their heritage as servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). Let the spirit of unity, faith, and perseverance rise among them, and may they walk in the fullness of Your promises.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord hears your cries, and He is moving on behalf of your family. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience to His Word. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He will fight for you as you hold your peace. Be encouraged—your breakthrough is coming!
