A Bloody Monster
The Crusade of Demons
The Song of the Drunkards
We join you in lifting up your grandson before the Lord, and we hear the deep love and concern you have for him. We understand your desire is for him to embrace the life and identity God gave him from the beginning and to find true joy and wholeness in that, along with restored relationship in his family.

We believe with you that God created each of us with purpose and intentional design. Genesis 1:27 tells us God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him. Male and female he created them. And Psalm 139:14 reminds us I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. When confusion comes about who we are, our loving Father wants to bring us back to the truth of how He made us and to the peace that comes from living in that truth. We pray your grandson will come to see himself as God sees him, as the man God created him to be, and find freedom and confidence in that identity in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

We also join you in praying for reconciliation between your grandson and his father. God deeply cares about the relationship between fathers and children, and He is able to heal what feels broken or distant. Malachi 4:6 says He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. We pray the Lord will soften hearts, remove any hurt or barrier, open the door for honest and loving communication, and bring restoration in His perfect timing. True and lasting happiness is not found in circumstances alone but in walking with the Lord, for Psalm 16:11 says In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. We pray your grandson will find that fullness of joy as he draws near to God and as his family relationships are restored.

We want to pray together now.

Father in heaven, we lift this precious grandson to You. You know him by name, You formed him, and You love him more than we can comprehend. We ask that You draw him close to Yourself, reveal to him the truth of who he is in You, and give him courage to walk again as the man You created him to be. Heal any confusion, pain, or struggle in his heart and lead him into wholeness and peace in Christ. We ask that You work in his relationship with his father, that You would bring reconciliation, forgiveness, and open communication between them. Let Your love bridge any distance and bring them together again. Fill this young man with Your joy and hope and make him very happy in the way that only You can give. Guide his grandmother with wisdom and grace to speak the truth in love as Ephesians 4:15 teaches, and to continue to show him Your unfailing love. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We want to gently encourage you as well, because we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not already, we must put our trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for our sins and rose again, and call upon His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to keep praying for your grandson in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that God hears, that He is at work even when we cannot see it, and that He desires to bring healing, truth, and joy to your family.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer for his return to the fullness of manhood as God designed it, for a renewed bond with his father, and for a deep and abiding happiness rooted in the Lord.

We hear how much you love your grandson and how heavy this has been for you to carry. Wanting him to be well, to be reconciled with his dad, and to know real, lasting happiness is such a caring prayer, and we are joining you in it now.

It is painful when someone we love feels distant, and especially when family relationships feel strained. We have found that grandparents often carry both grief and hope at the same time, loving fiercely while not knowing how to help. Please know you are not alone in that.

One gentle step that can help in this kind of season is to keep the door of relationship open in small, steady ways. A brief note or call just to say you love him, you are thinking of him, and you are here whenever he wants to talk can mean a lot over time, without putting pressure on him to respond in a certain way. It also helps to have someone to walk with you, a trusted pastor or counselor who can listen and support you as you navigate this with wisdom and grace.

We are praying for you too, for peace and strength as you love your family well.

Father, we lift this grandson to You and ask You to watch over him, to lead him toward wholeness and true joy, and to guide his steps. We ask for healing where there is hurt between him and his dad, and for Your wisdom and comfort for this grandparent who loves him so deeply. Give them both Your care and direction in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden for your grandson has been heard and we join you in earnest prayer before the Father of Lights from whom every good and perfect gift comes.

We pray that the Lord in His great mercy will draw your grandson to Himself, for no man can come to Christ except the Father draw him. We ask that God will grant him a true sense of sin forgiven and reconciliation to God by the death of His Son, for there is no greater comfort under Heaven than that, and there is no true happiness for unpardoned souls. The world seeks happiness below in things of time and sense, but substantial happiness is found only above, in the smiles of our Father who is in Heaven, whose love does not change and whose grace alone can sanctify and mellow our joy and make it lasting.

We pray that the Lord will restore to him a clear mind to embrace and rejoice in the manhood God gave him at his creation, for God knows our frame and pities them that fear Him, and His way is perfect restoration. As with the prodigal son who wasted his substance and at last came home to his father, so we pray your grandson may return with a penitent heart and find his father ready to receive him with kisses and love, as if he had never gone away. There is music and dancing in the Father's house over one who returns, and God will rejoice over him and make him happy indeed.

We pray also for a gracious reconciliation between your grandson and his father here on earth. He is the God of Peace who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation, and who was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. We ask that by the power of the Holy Spirit any breach between them may be healed, that the look of Christ which once restored Peter may sever your grandson from all that holds him and bring him back to fellowship and love within his family.

We will continue to intercede for you who love him so tenderly, that you may be sustained by trusting your heavenly Father as a child trusts his father, leaving all unknown things in His hands. He will be a better Father to your grandson than the best of earthly fathers could be, and He is able to keep and to restore and to make truly happy those who put their trust in Him.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and make this happiness to be to Him a name of joy and a praise. Amen.
