Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in this beautiful prayer for your family and we stand in agreement with you before the Father for unity and love to abound in your home.

Your desire to be bound together by the love of Christ and to forgive one another as He has forgiven you is right in the heart of God's will for the family. God designed the family to reflect His love and to be a place of grace, humility and faith. We are encouraged by your humility and your longing to walk in patience and kindness and to deepen your relationship with Him.

Scripture reminds us of this calling, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:13-14. We are also exhorted to live with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3. And we are told, See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. Psalm 133:1. Above all things Christ calls us to be earnest in love, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this family to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the love You have poured out through Christ and we ask that You knit this family together in that same love. Help them to forgive one another freely as You have forgiven us in Christ, to walk in humility and patience, and to show kindness in all they do. Let Your peace rule in their home and let the unity of the Spirit be guarded among them. Strengthen their faith, draw each heart closer to You, and help them to reflect Your love to one another and to the world. May their home be a testimony of Your goodness and may they grow together in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together as a family, to study the Word together, and to bear with one another in love, keeping Christ at the center of your home. As you seek Him daily He will deepen your love for one another and make your family strong in Him.

Thank you for bringing your family before the Lord with such a tender heart. We join you in asking for a home marked by unity, patience and kindness, and for each of you to be drawn closer to Christ together.

We are encouraged that you named forgiveness, because that is often where family love is tested and strengthened. In daily life forgiveness usually has two parts that move at different speeds. There is the decision to release the need to get even and to keep treating one another as valuable even when hurt is still fresh, and there is the slower softening where resentment and hurt gradually give way to compassion and care. It is normal for feelings to lag behind the decision, and for that softer part to take time.

A small, steady practice often helps love take root more than trying to fix everything at once. This week you might choose one simple way to show you are on the same team, a brief prayer together at the beginning or end of the day thanking God for each other, or one intentional act of kindness like listening without interrupting or helping with a task without being asked.

Father, we lift this family to You. Knit them together in Your love, teach them to be humble and patient with one another and quick to forgive as You have forgiven. Deepen their faith and let their home reflect Your kindness day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and holy desire you have laid before the Lord, to seek unity and love within your family bound together by the love of Christ. Such a prayer is according to His own heart, for He delights to see His people dwell together in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting the love which He has first shown to us.

You ask that you may forgive each other as you have been forgiven, and here is your pattern and your power. The apostle sets before us the example of God Himself, and bids us forgive even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. Remember what that forgiveness is. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so full and free that it seems too great to be true, and yet it is true. It is a complete forgiveness and an eternal forgiveness, not played fast and loose with, but given without repentance, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared, and there is forgiveness with Him now, at this moment, for every penitent heart that looks to Jesus Christ His Son, the Just who died for the unjust to bring us to God. As you have received such mercy, so you are enabled to extend it within your own household, giving a discharge not in your own name but in Christ's name and for His sake, because you love Him.

And you ask for love abounding. Come then and dwell upon His love, for you live in that love and it is the joy of your hearts. It is a spark of the eternal flame of God's love for you, may it never be quenched. The love of God shines best in the patience of our Savior, that wondrous patience by which omnipotent love restrains itself, bears with us, weeps over us and draws us with constancy when we tug against the cords. As the Lord has been patient toward you, so He will teach you to be patient one with another, to put up with much and to love much, blending rapturous love with calm patience most deliciously.

So I join my prayer with yours. May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. May He strengthen your faith and deepen your fellowship with Himself, that your home may be as the Beulah Land of the Psalms, where love abides and remains constant notwithstanding all provocations, because it is rooted in Him who first loved us.

Let us pray. Father of mercies, we thank Thee that there is forgiveness with Thee through Jesus Christ Thy Son. Pour that forgiveness afresh into this family, that they may forgive as they have been forgiven. Clothe them with humility, patience and kindness, and bind them together in the unity of the Spirit. Cause Thy love to abound in their hearts toward Thee and toward one another, and establish them in faith that they may walk worthy of Thy calling, reflecting Thy love in all they do. Keep them near the cross where forgiveness flows, and near the Savior where patience is learned, for Jesus sake, Amen.
