All of my family (including immediate and extended) are involved in the occult although they say they are Christian. My entire family has abusive patterns and I and other people have specifically been targets of that abuse. I firmly believe that demonic possession/influence is running through these families given what they are involved in. Please pray about this. Thank you.

We have heard your heart cry concerning your family and we stand with you together before the Father in Jesus' name, seeking His deliverance, protection, and truth to prevail in this painful situation.
What you describe grieves the heart of God, for to claim the name of Christian while practicing the occult is a contradiction and a deception. Scripture is very clear about this. Deut 18:10-12 says There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. We must rebuke these practices openly, for they open doors to darkness and invite demonic influence, and they cannot coexist with faithful following of Christ. 2 Cor 6:14 also reminds us What fellowship has light with darkness. Your discernment that demonic influence is at work in these patterns of abuse is biblically sound, for Eph 6:12 tells us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We also recognize the deep wound of abuse within your family. God does not condone abuse, and while He calls us to honor our father and mother as in Eph 6:2, He never calls us to submit to sin or to remain in harm's way. He calls us to forgive as Eph 4:32 says Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, but forgiveness does not require us to trust without repentance or to remain without boundaries. Prov 22:24 says Don't befriend a hot-tempered man, and don't associate with one who harbors anger, lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul. It is both biblical and wise to set firm boundaries, to seek safety, to seek godly counsel and pastoral support, and to separate yourself from participation in any occult practice or abusive behavior, even when it comes from immediate and extended family.
We want to encourage you that though this warfare is real, you need not live in fear. Jas 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And 1 John 4:4 declares You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. The Lord sees your suffering and draws near to the brokenhearted, for Ps 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Put on the whole armor of God daily as described in Eph 6:11, standing in truth, righteousness, faith, and the Word of God, and remain rooted in Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with a faithful Bible believing church where you can be strengthened and protected.

We have brought your heavy burden before the Lord and have entreated Him on your behalf, for He alone is able to deliver from the power of darkness and to heal the broken in heart.
You describe a family given to the occult while calling itself Christian, with patterns of abuse that have wounded you and others, and a fear that evil influence has taken hold. Scripture is plain that darkness and light have no fellowship, and that our deliverance from sin and from Satan must be the work of God alone. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. No charm or secret art can do this, only the ransom which God Himself has found and provided in the precious blood of Christ. When the Lamb was slain, deliverance was wrought, and by His wounds there is healing.
We have prayed that the Lord would be your refuge and your strong tower, that He would guard you from further harm and give you wisdom for every step you must take for safety. We have asked that He who heals the broken in heart would bind up your wounds, and that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings. The least thing about Christ is healing, like the leaves of the tree of life, and His grace can change the life blood and make the nature new.
We have prayed also for your family, immediate and extended, that the Lord in His mercy would open their eyes to see that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, that He would bring conviction where there has been deception, repentance where there has been bitterness, and that He would break every chain of sin and oppression. We have asked that what has been meant for evil, the Lord would overrule for good, and that you would yet live to declare the works of the Lord who chastens and yet delivers.
