Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in praying for unity and love in your family and we thank God for the beautiful desire you have expressed to be bound together by the love of Christ.

We are encouraged by your heart to forgive, to walk in humility, patience and kindness, and to reflect His love in all you do. This is the very calling God has placed on every household that seeks Him. We are reminded of how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity, Psalm 133:1, and that love is what holds all things together in perfect harmony. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection, Colossians 3:14.

God has called your family to bear with one another and to forgive as Christ forgave you. Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do, Colossians 3:13. And to walk with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, Ephesians 4:2-3. When we choose humility over pride and patience over irritation, we reflect the character of Christ within our home.

Let us pray together.

Father, we come before You in Jesus name and we lift up this family to Your throne of grace. We ask that You pour out Your love into each heart and knit them together in the unity that comes only from Your Spirit. Help them to forgive one another freely as You have so graciously forgiven us through Christ, to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32. Teach them to walk in humility, patience and kindness each day, to speak with grace and to bear with one another in love. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw each member into a deeper relationship with You, that their home would be built on the foundation of Your Word and that Your peace would rule in their hearts. May their family be a testimony of Your love to all who see them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We loved reading your heart for your family and the way you put unity, forgiveness and kindness before the Lord. It is a beautiful desire to want your home to reflect Christ's love in everyday patience and humility.

We know that kind of love is built in small, steady choices more than in one big moment. Forgiveness especially can be a decision we make before the feelings fully catch up, and it is normal for the emotions to need time to settle even after we have chosen to let go of resentment. Giving each other grace in that process is part of walking in humility together.

One small step that often helps families grow in this direction is to create a brief, regular time to reconnect with the Lord and each other, even just a few minutes a couple of times a week to pray together, share thanks, and quietly ask if anything needs to be cleared between you. It keeps little hurts from building up and keeps Christ at the center.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw each one closer to Jesus, soften hearts toward one another, and teach them to forgive as they have been forgiven. Grow patience, kindness and unity in their home day by day, and let Your love be evident in how they speak and serve one another. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for unity and love within your family is a fragrant and fitting petition, and we do join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have asked to be bound together by the love of Christ, and to forgive as you have been forgiven, and this is the very pattern the apostle sets before us. We are to forgive for Christ's sake, because we love Him who first loved us. Remember what manner of forgiveness we have received. It is a divine forgiveness, for the Lord Himself says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so free and so full that it seems too great to be true, and yet it is true. It is a complete and an eternal forgiveness, not a discharge which may be revoked, but a forgiveness which is without repentance, bestowed through the blood of Jesus Christ alone. There is forgiveness with God, that He may be feared, and none fear and love and praise Him as those do who know that there is forgiveness with Him. As you have received such forgiveness, so bestow it freely within your household, not in your own name, but in Christ's name.

We pray also that the Lord will direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. The love of God shines best in the patience of the Savior, that wondrous patience which bore with us when we would not come, which wept over us and drew us with cords of love. As you live in that abounding love, may there arise from your own hearts a renewed love toward Him, which shall then overflow to one another in humility, patience and kindness. Simple faith and calm patience blend most deliciously, and holy love is the choicest of the graces of God. May the Lord make the most of you as a family, teaching you to walk worthily, forgiving, forbearing, and reflecting His love in all you do.

We commend you to Him who rests in His love and rejoices over His people. May He strengthen your faith, deepen your communion with Himself through Jesus Christ our only hope, and keep your home in the Beulah Land of His peace, where love abides and remains constant. May He cause you to know more and more of that love which passeth knowledge, and to prove your friendship by feasting abundantly at His table.

Father, hear this prayer for this family. Pour out Thy Spirit upon them, knit them together in Christ, give them humble and patient hearts, help them to forgive even as Thou for Christ's sake hast forgiven them, and establish them in Thy love and truth, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
