Beloved of All
Your prayer for your family to know salvation and to experience healing and protection is precious to the Lord, and it is right to bring all of these needs to Him in the name of Jesus, which itself means the Lord our salvation.
For salvation, Scripture teaches that it is entirely a work of God's grace and not something we can earn. It is placed outside of our own ability so that no one can boast. When we confess Jesus as Lord and truly believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved. That confession offered now in faith brings eternal life, while the confession that every knee will one day make will only confirm what was rejected. God calls us to live out with reverence and awe the salvation He has already worked within us, not to work in order to earn it. We are His workmanship, His poem, made beautiful by grace. This great salvation is open to anyone who will come, for whosoever believes in Him will not be cast out, and Jesus is the captain and originator of that salvation who brings many sons and daughters into the glory of God's family. The grace that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and Scripture urges us that now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation, so we should not put off receiving what God offers.
For healing, the Bible shows Jesus healing many kinds of sickness, sometimes instantly with a touch or a word, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural processes of recovery that God Himself designed in our bodies. All true healing is from Him. At the same time, we do not understand why some are healed as we ask and others are not, and we see that even the apostle Paul prayed three times for a painful trial to be removed and the Lord chose not to remove it. We can trust that God is able to heal and we should continue to ask Him, while also remembering that the greatest miracle He does in any life is the forgiveness of sins. No physical healing compares in importance to the salvation of the soul.
For protection, the Lord is faithful to keep those who belong to Him. He draws us into a new family, the family of God, where the bonds of faith can be even deeper than natural family ties, and He watches over His children with care. It is good that you are interceding for your household, asking that each one would come to know Christ and walk under His covering.
I am praying with you that God by His grace would draw each member of your family to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection, that He would grant healing according to His wise and loving will and bring comfort and strength where there is sickness, and that He would surround you all with His protection and keep you close to Himself. May you experience His presence and peace as you trust Him day by day, and may His love prevail in your home.
