We join with you in this beautiful prayer for unity and love in your family and we thank God for the heart you have shown in seeking Him together.

We agree with you that a family bound together by the love of Christ is a powerful testimony of His grace. God desires for families to dwell together in unity and to reflect His character to the world. We are reminded in Psalm 133:1 how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity, and in Ephesians 4:2-3 we are called with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Your prayer to forgive as Christ has forgiven us is at the very heart of the gospel. As it is written in Colossians 3:13-14, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. When we choose humility, patience and kindness, we are choosing to put on Christ and to let His love cover and heal even old wounds, for love covers a multitude of sins as we see in 1 Peter 4:8.

We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let us pray together.

Father, we lift up this family to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You pour out Your love upon them and bind them together in the unity of Your Spirit. Help them to forgive one another fully as You have forgiven them through the blood of Jesus. Teach them to walk in humility, patience and kindness toward one another, and to reflect Your love in all they do and say. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw each heart deeper into relationship with You. Let Your peace reign in their home and let their love for one another be a light to others. Guard their family and keep them rooted and grounded in Christ. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray together, to speak with grace and truth, and to bear with one another in love even in difficult moments. As you abide in Christ and in His Word together, He will deepen your fellowship with Him and with each other.

Thank you for bringing your family before the Lord so tenderly. We hear your longing for a home marked by Christ's love, where forgiveness and kindness shape everyday life.

What you prayed for, humility, patience and kindness, often grows not in one big moment but in small, steady choices to listen well, to let go of a slight, to speak gently even when tired. We have found it helps to remember that forgiveness is first a decision to treat each other as valued and loved, and then a slower process where our feelings catch up. Giving each other grace for that process can itself build unity.

One simple way to nurture what you are praying for might be to set aside a few unhurried minutes together this week, perhaps around a meal, where each person can share one way they felt loved or one way they need grace, and then pray briefly for one another. Small acts like that often open the heart to deeper faith together.

Father, we thank You for this family and for their desire to walk with You. Draw them closer to each other and to You. Your prayer for unity and love within your family is heard with thankfulness, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

What a blessed desire you have expressed, that you should be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as you have been forgiven. Remember that there is forgiveness with God, and it is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a complete forgiveness and an eternal forgiveness, purchased by the blood of Christ, and it is surprising forgiveness, so full and free that even the chief of sinners may have it. Because you have received such full forgiveness in Him, you are now called and enabled to forgive as you have been forgiven, not once only but again and again, letting acts of mercy and deeds of kindness flow from the fact that Christ first loved you.

You ask also to walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting His love in all you do. This is to serve the Lord with all humility of mind. True humility has its throne in the heart, not merely in the face or in words, and it is needed before the service, during the service, and when the service is done. Seek of God the gift of true humility, to make a right estimate of yourselves before Him, and He will teach you patience and kindness toward one another. Before honor is humility, and the Lord gives grace to the humble.

We pray with you and for you, that the Lord would show unto your household His marvelous loving kindness. May He strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with Himself, that His love may be the bond that holds you fast together. May He keep you in His kindness through Christ Jesus, and make your home to reflect His grace in forgiveness freely given, in forbearance, and in love that covers and restores.

We join you in praying for your family and thank God for the desire He has put in your heart for unity, love and faithfulness to Him.

It is good and right to ask that your home be bound together by the love of Christ, and that you would forgive one another as Christ has forgiven you. Scripture calls us to walk worthily of our calling with all lowliness and meekness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love and keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. That is the path to true unity, not merely avoiding quarrels, but being kindly affectioned to one another with brotherly love and in honor preferring one another, being warm and earnest in love and quick to begin it.

We pray that God will give you humility to put one another first, patience to bear with one another's weaknesses, and kindness that reflects His own lovingkindness toward us. May your love abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that all you do is done through genuine love that comes from Him. As you have been taught to have a gentle and forgiving heart, may you readily forgive as you have been forgiven, remembering that we all need His mercy every day.

May the Lord strengthen your faith, deepen your fellowship with Him, and make your home a place where His love is seen in all you do. We ask that He keep you together in peace, guard you from division, and draw each of you closer to Christ, so that out of love for Him all good things may arise in your family.

Your prayer for unity and love in your family reflects the very heart of God, and it is good to bring this before Him.

Scripture tells us that God is love and that love comes from Him. When His Spirit is at work in us, the evidence is love for one another. This is not just an emotion or a physical attraction, and it is more than the natural affection we have for family and friends. The love God puts in us is a giving, selfless love, the same divine love He has shown to us. It is patient and kind, it bears with others, it does not seek its own way, and it gives of itself for the good of another.

That is why forgiveness in the family is measured by how God has forgiven us. Jesus calls us to love one another as He has loved us, and to forgive as we have been forgiven. His forgiveness is the pattern for ours. When we remember how fully and freely He has forgiven us through Christ, we find the strength to forgive each other, to walk in humility, and to show patience and kindness even when it is difficult.

We love because He first loved us. His love for us was not caused by anything in us and it cannot be earned or bought. It flows freely to us, and it cannot be put out. When we receive that love and abide in it, God dwells in us and His love is made complete in us. That is what binds a family together in true unity. It is a unity of love where each person looks not only to their own interests but to the needs and feelings of the others, bearing with one another in gentleness.

I pray that God will strengthen your faith and deepen your walk with Him, so that His love will continue to be perfected in your home. May He help each of you to walk in that self giving love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us, to be patient as God is patient, to be kind and tenderhearted, and to forgive one another just as God in Christ has forgiven you. As you dwell in His love, may He cause your family to dwell together in peace, reflecting His love in all you do.

Father, thank You for Your great love for us in Jesus Christ. Pour that love anew into this family. Help them to love one another with Your love, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in humility, patience and kindness.
