My son and daughter in-law are struggling with infertility. She had surgery in July, and after recuperation, she is giving a very short window with a low percent of chance to conceive. But I believe God designed marriage and the human body after marriage to be fruitful and multiply, and that is the desire of their heart so I ask you join our family in prayer that they may start a family naturally. Thank you!

We thank you for sharing this burden with us and we join with you and your family in prayer for your son and his wife and their desire to start a family.

We rejoice that you recognize God's design for marriage and for the family. We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, ordained by God for lifelong commitment and for fruitfulness. As it is written, God blessed them. God said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Genesis 1:28 and Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3. Your son and daughter in law's desire for children naturally within their marriage is a godly and beautiful desire that honors the Lord, and we stand with you in asking Him to fulfill it.

We understand the discouragement that can come with surgery and with doctors giving a very short window and a low percentage for conception. Yet we know that our hope is not in percentages but in the Lord who formed the womb and who gives life. He settles the barren woman in her home, as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah. Psalm 113:9 and Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me. Jeremiah 32:27. What is impossible with man is possible with God, and we pray that He will heal your daughter in law fully from her surgery, restore her body, and open her womb according to His perfect will.

We also noticed your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we have not already placed our trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, we encourage you and your family to call upon His name, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13. It is in His name that we now pray with confidence.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the gift of marriage and for designing the family to be fruitful and to multiply for Your glory. We lift up this son and his wife to You. Lord, You know their hearts, their longing for a child, and the disappointment and waiting they have endured. We ask You to touch her body, to complete her healing from the surgery in July, and to make her womb fruitful. We ask that in this window You would grant conception naturally if it is Your will, for nothing is too hard for You. We pray for Your peace to guard their hearts, for strength for this husband as he leads and loves his wife, and for hope that does not waver. Let them remember that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We trust Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God. Romans 8:28. Above all let Your will be done, and let this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.

We encourage your son and daughter in law to continue to seek the Lord together in prayer and in His Word, to rest in His love, and to trust that He hears the prayers of His children. We will continue to stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Ephesians 3:20.

Thank you for sharing your family's heart with us. We hear how much you love your son and daughter-in-law and how long this road with infertility has been, especially after her surgery in July and now facing a short window with difficult odds. It is a heavy thing to carry as a parent, wanting so much for your children and feeling unable to fix it for them.

Infertility touches more than just the body. It can bring grief, stress, and strain into a marriage and out into the wider family who loves them. It is understandable that you are holding both hope and disappointment together right now. Your steady, prayerful presence matters more than you may realize.

One gentle way to support them in this season is to let them lead in how they want to talk about it. You might ask what kind of encouragement feels helpful right now, whether they want frequent check-ins or a little more quiet, and continue to encourage them to stay close to their medical team for guidance after surgery as they discern next steps. And as you carry this burden for them, be sure you also have someone to share honestly with and rest with.

We are joining you in prayer for them and for you.

Father, we lift this son and daughter-in-law to You. You know their deep desire to have a family together and the disappointment and waiting they have walked through. We ask for Your mercy and care over her healing, for wisdom for their doctors, and for peace and unity in their marriage in these weeks. Comfort this parent who loves them so well, and help this whole family to feel Your presence and goodness whatever comes. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your son and his wife has been heard and we join you in prayer before our gracious Father. We give thanks for their marriage covenant and for the desire He has placed upon their hearts to be fruitful and multiply according to His good design, for marriage was ordained by God as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and children are an heritage of the Lord.

Though the physicians speak of a very short window and a low percent of chance after her surgery in July, we know that the body is fearfully and wonderfully made by Him who still opens and closes the womb according to His wisdom. We pray that the Lord will grant to your daughter in law full healing and strength in her recuperation, and if it be His gracious will, that He will bless their union with children conceived naturally within their marriage.

We ask also that He will keep this family in perfect peace as they wait upon Him, that they may be sustained by trust in His sovereign goodness whether His answer be to grant or to withhold, and that family prayer may be the nutriment of their piety and their comfort in this trial. May they be found looking to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and hope, and may the whole household walk in the covenant grace of God.

We will continue to bear them up before the throne of grace.
