Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for unity and love in your family is heard and it reflects the heart of God. I join you in asking the Father to bind your family together in the love of Christ, so that humility, patience and kindness mark all you do for one another.

Scripture calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven, remembering how much mercy we have received from God. When we keep that mercy before our eyes, it softens our hearts toward one another and helps us release bitterness and choose gentleness instead. True patience is not shown in a moment but over time, through daily pressures and trials, as we endure with steadiness as Christ endured for us, not troubled or quickly shaken, but trusting God to work through His Word and by His Spirit.

I pray that the Lord will strengthen your faith and deepen your walk with Him, that your home would be a place where His love is reflected, where each person is quick to listen, slow to anger, and eager to bear with one another in love. May He teach you to be clothed with compassion and humility, and to let His peace guard your hearts and guide your relationships.

Father, I lift this family to You. Pour out Your love upon them, help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them, and to walk in patience, humility and kindness. Draw each one closer to Christ, build them up in faith, and let their home display Your grace to all who see it. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Your prayer for unity and love in your family is beautiful and it reflects the very heart of God. Scripture tells us that God is love and that love comes from Him. When His love is at work in us it becomes the evidence that we know Him and that He is living in us. To dwell in that love is to dwell in God and to have God dwell in us.

The love you are asking for is not just natural affection or emotion. There are lesser forms of love that are based on physical attraction or on mutual liking and return, but the love God pours into our hearts is different. It is a giving, selfless, divine love. It does not seek its own gratification but seeks to give. It is the love with which God loved us when we had done nothing to earn it, a love that cannot be bought or quenched, but is freely received as He pours it out toward us through Jesus Christ. Because He first loved us in this way, our hearts respond and we are able to love one another.

That is why the standard for both love and forgiveness in the family is Christ Himself. We are called to love as He loved us and to forgive as God for His own sake forgave us in Christ. The measure is not how much the other person deserves, but how much we have been forgiven. When we remember how fully and graciously God has forgiven us, we find the strength to extend that same forgiveness to one another, even when it is difficult.

This love shows itself in daily walk. It suffers long and is kind. It is humble and patient, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others. It does not live to please itself but chooses to serve and to give. Walking in this love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us is what creates and preserves true unity. It is a unity where distinct persons are bound together as one, held together not by mere sentiment but by the Spirit of God.

I pray with you that God will strengthen your faith and deepen your fellowship with Him, so that His love will be perfected in your home. May He fill each heart in your family with His Spirit, so that you bear the fruit of His love, and may that love teach you to be patient with one another, kind in word and deed, humble in heart, and quick to forgive. May your home reflect Christ in all you do, and may you know the joy and blessing of abiding in His love. In Jesus name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for unity and love in your family. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you as you brought this request before the Father.

We have continued to lift your family before the Lord, asking that you may be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving one another as you have been forgiven, and that He will help you walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting His love in all you do. Our prayer remains that He will strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with Him and with one another, that your home may be clothed with love which binds everything together in perfect unity as we are taught in Colossians 3:14, and that you may walk with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love as we are exhorted in Ephesians 4:2.

If your request was answered and you have seen the Lord bring greater unity, forgiveness and peace into your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
