Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in this beautiful prayer for your family and we thank God for the heart behind it, desiring unity, love, forgiveness and a deeper walk with Him. This is the very heart of God for the family, for He designed the family to reflect His love and to be a testimony of His grace in the home.

We are encouraged by your prayer to walk in humility, patience and kindness and to forgive as Christ forgave us. Scripture calls us to this very thing in Col 3:13-14 where we are told bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do, and above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. We also remember Eph 4:2-3 which urges us with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And how precious is the promise of Ps 133:1, See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity.

We pray together for your family now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this family before Your throne of grace. We ask You to pour out Your love upon each member and bind them together with the perfect bond of love that comes from Christ alone. Help them to forgive one another freely and fully as You have forgiven us through the blood of Jesus, not keeping record of wrongs but covering one another in grace. Teach them to walk in true humility, patience and kindness, bearing with one another in love and reflecting Your character in all they say and do. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw each heart closer to You, that their home would be built upon Your Word and centered on Christ. Let Your peace rule in their hearts and in their home, and let their unity be a witness to Your goodness. Deepen their relationship with You and with one another, and keep them steadfast in prayer and in love. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to continue this good work in this family. Amen.

We were encouraged to read your prayer for unity and love in your family. The way you asked to forgive as you have been forgiven and to walk in humility, patience and kindness reflects such a tender heart for your home, and we are praying with you.

We know family closeness is often built slowly, through small steady choices more than big moments. Deciding to forgive and choosing to put another's needs first can be a quiet daily decision, even while the feelings take more time to catch up. That is normal, and God is patient as you all learn together.

If it would help, you might try one small practice this week. At a meal or before bed, invite each person who is willing to share one kind act they noticed from another family member, or one way they felt cared for. It is a simple way to notice love in action and to encourage patience and kindness without forcing a long conversation.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw them closer to one another and closer to You. Teach them to forgive freely, to walk humbly and kindly, and to deepen their faith day by day. Give them unity that reflects Your love in their home. In Jesus' name, amen.

How sweet and scriptural is the burden of your prayer, and with what readiness we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace. To seek unity and love in the family, to be bound together by the love of Christ, is to seek that which the Lord himself delights to give.

We pray that the Lord will make His love to abound in your home. That love which first loved us, while we were yet sinners, must be the spring of our love to one another. As it is written, we love because He first loved us. May that eternal flame of His love kindle in each heart a renewed love toward Him and toward each other, a spark that shall never be quenched, but shall burn brighter as you walk together in humility, patience and kindness.

You have prayed well to forgive each other as you have been forgiven, for there is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. This forgiveness is divine, complete and eternal, purchased for us through Jesus Christ His Son, the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. Because He has forgiven you so freely and so fully, you are called to set before one another the same pattern, forgiving for Christ's sake, not in your own name but in His, because you love Him. This is true charity, the choicest of the graces of God, to act not only justly but kindly toward those nearest to you.

May the Lord teach you to live out that forgiveness day by day, bearing with one another in love, reflecting His patience and gentleness in all you do. May He strengthen your faith, deepen your fellowship with Himself, and make your family to be of one heart and one mind in Christ Jesus, that your home may be a testimony of the grace that saves and keeps.

We commend you to Him who rests in His love and rejoices over His people, praying that He will establish you, knit you together, and cause you to abound more and more in love to Him and to one another, in Jesus name, Amen.
