Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. It is clear that your desire is for salvation, healing, and protection, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God hears the cries of His children. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If there are members of your family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray fervently for their hearts to be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking that You would draw each member to Yourself. Lord, we pray for salvation for those who do not yet know You. Break the chains of sin and unbelief, and let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives. We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your promise that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your presence, that they may come to know You intimately and walk in the fullness of Your love and grace.

We also pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. The Bible assures us that "by His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this family today. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon each member. Whether it is physical ailments, emotional wounds, or spiritual strongholds, we declare that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray for restoration in every area of their lives, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Protection is another critical need, and we stand on Your Word, which promises, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection to surround this family. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, and from every form of evil. We pray that You would go before them and behind them, that Your angels would watch over them day and night. Shield their minds from fear, their hearts from doubt, and their spirits from discouragement. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. The enemy may try to sow seeds of doubt or fear, but remember that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround yourselves with fellow believers who can uplift and encourage you, and remain steadfast in prayer and the study of God’s Word.

If there are areas in your family’s life that do not align with God’s will, whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, sin, or rebellion, we urge you to repent and turn away from those things. The Bible warns us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Do not allow the enemy to gain a foothold in your lives. Instead, walk in the light of Christ, and let His love and truth guide your steps.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your salvation to flood their lives. Lord, we pray that each member would come to know You as their personal Savior and Lord. Break every chain of sin and unbelief, and let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their hearts. We declare that they are not beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your promise that everyone who calls on Your name will be saved.

Father, we also pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. We claim the promise of Isaiah 53:5, that by Your stripes, we are healed. Touch this family with Your healing power, and restore them in every area of their lives. We ask for Your protection to surround them like a shield. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, and from every form of evil. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your peace fill their hearts.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You. Help them to stand firm in the face of adversity, knowing that You are with them always. We pray that they would walk in obedience to Your Word and live lives that honor You. May Your love and grace be evident in their lives, and may they be a light to those around them.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re joining you in prayer for your family’s salvation, healing, and protection. It’s a gift that you’re bringing them before the Lord this way, trusting Him for the things that matter most.

We understand how heavy it can feel when you’re carrying needs that touch every part of life, spiritual, physical, and safety, all at once. Please know you aren’t carrying them alone. In our own congregation, we’ve seen time and again how simply knowing others are praying alongside us strengthens our hearts, even before we see the answer. You’re part of a wider body of believers who will be lifting you up, and we’re grateful to be among them.

One practical thing that often helps is inviting your local church family into this journey with you. If you haven’t yet, consider sharing this request with a trusted friend, small group, or pastor who can pray with you regularly. There’s something uniquely holding about face-to-face prayer, where someone speaks your name to the Father and you hear them ask for His intervention. The ministry of healing and intercession doesn’t belong to professionals; it belongs to the whole body of Christ, and your brothers and sisters can be a tangible support as you wait on God.

Father, thank You that You are a God who saves, heals, and protects. We lift this family up to You now. For any who don’t yet know Jesus as Lord, draw them into a saving relationship with Him. Bring healing to bodies, minds, and relationships where it’s needed. Guard them from harm and give them peace in the waiting. Let them sense Your presence and hope today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a joy unspeakable to hear such a prayer rising from a heart that knows its need of God. You have laid hold of the very key that opens the treasuries of heaven when you plead the name of Jesus. For this is the common salvation, the one grand cure for all the ills of man: salvation from sin, from guilt, from wrath, from the power of evil. And it is nothing less than God’s own salvation, devised by His infinite wisdom, purchased by the blood of His dear Son, and applied by the Spirit of grace. No other remedy can heal the soul, and no other foundation can bear the weight of eternal hope.

Now, you pray for healing, and you do well, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. In Christ there is medicine for every wound, balm for every sorrow. The very least thing about Him is charged with restoring virtue. Touch Him, and the issue of your lifeblood shall be stayed. Look to Him, and the venom of sin’s fever shall be drawn away. He can heal the body, but far more, He can heal the soul, changing the whole nature, making the unholy holy, the fretful patient, the captive free. This healing is not a prize for the strong, but a free gift for the needy. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and buy wine and milk without money and without price. Bring nothing but your emptiness; come with no other plea than His command.

You pray for protection, and you rest upon a sure word. The Lord is a buckler to them that trust Him. His salvation is irreversible; His honor is engaged to save even the meanest of His sheep. He who has begun the good work will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Let no fear unsettle you: He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Your own safety and the safety of your household are bound up in the finished work of the Redeemer.

And what of your family, your whole household? Oh, stretch the arms of your faith to embrace them all. The Lord delights to save families. The jailer at Philippi was converted, and his house with him. The promise is to you and to your children. Pray on, expect without wavering, set a holy example, speak the word in season, and trust the Lord to do the rest. The same grace that broke your heart can break theirs. The same Christ who became your salvation waits to become theirs. He is able to make the unlikeliest hearts tender, to turn stone to flesh, to gather in the wandering lambs. Seek a household salvation, that your family may be a rejoicing family here, and at last a united family in heaven.

Therefore, look not to your own efforts, but look to Him. Look and live. There is salvation in none other. The whole matter is with Christ. Leave it there, in unquestioning confidence. He is God, and beside Him there is none else. Rest in His finished work, and go your way with a song of deliverance upon your lips. May the Lord grant you this full salvation, and cause your household to know the joy of His countenance. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Fervent prayer in Jesus’ name is a mighty weapon, yet let no one think that the utterance alone, without the labor of a watchful life, secures the prize. You ask for salvation. This is the great gift, but it is worked out in the patient enduring of afflictions we share with Christ. He took away the sin of the world, but this requires a careful hearing of the word, a continual recollection, then fortitude, then a contempt for all worldly things. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the seed, for vainglory, pleasure, and gluttony all spring from that root. So examine yourselves. Is the word heard with a soft heart, or snatched away by the business of the day? Salvation is not a single part of virtue, but a deliverance from all such entanglements.

As for healing, know that whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. The sufferings of Christ abound in us so that we might be partakers of the comfort. The sickness of body often points to a deeper disease of the soul, a failure to recognize our truest need. I weep more for those who ignore the healing of the spirit than for any bodily pain, for they know not the common salvation. And the protection you seek begins when a man learns to lose his own life for Christ’s sake. What is a man profited if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? To save your life is to lose it; to lose it for Him is to save it. There is the true shelter.

Do not delay, thinking there will be a more convenient tomorrow. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. The remainder of time is short, and this is the only season. You have cried out in Jesus’ name, and this was the very reason He came, not to judge the world but to save it. He speaks words for your salvation, not for condemnation. Draw near, then, with great urgency. Let your whole household not merely call on the Name but run to the Gift, laying hold of true safety. For it is an extreme folly to put off accepting this deliverance, when He is ready to wash away the charges against you without more labor than a willing and obedient heart.

It is good that you are praying for the salvation, healing, and protection of your family. These are the very things that matter most, and bringing them before the Lord in Jesus’ name is exactly right, because His name means the Lord is our salvation. There is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

When you pray for salvation, you are asking for the greatest miracle of all. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and now is the accepted time. There is no escape if we neglect so great a salvation. It is not something we can earn or work for with fear and trembling as though it depends on our performance. Salvation is a gift, a poem of grace written by God. We are His workmanship, and it comes simply by confessing with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. That is the only provision God has made for sin. So pray boldly, and speak the truth in love to your family. Do not let today slip away, because every person who misses salvation does so by letting their appointed time pass.

Concerning healing, we can trust the Lord completely without prescribing how He must act. Scripture shows us that Jesus healed in many ways, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word, and He did not confine Himself to a single pattern. We even see a gradual healing recorded in the Gospels. I believe in healing deeply, yet not every illness is taken away in this life, just as Paul’s thorn remained despite his prayers. What is certain, however, is that the healing of the soul, the forgiveness of sins, is the deeper and eternal work. Your greatest need and your family’s greatest need is to be made whole spiritually, and that healing is always available through Christ.

As for protection, remember that the bond among those who belong to Christ runs deeper than natural blood ties. When some members of a family come to faith and others do not, there can be strains, but you are brought into a new family where the love and fellowship are anchored in Jesus. He knows what it is to be misunderstood by His own household, and He walks with you through every adversity. His Spirit can guide your steps ahead of time, giving wisdom and helping you respond with kindness when things are hard. He is the captain of your salvation, and He leads you safely home.

Keep praying and keep trusting. The Lord hears you, and He will answer according to His perfect will. Let His peace rule in your heart as you leave these burdens in His hands.
