Family

We lift up this precious family before the throne of grace, rejoicing that you have come in the mighty name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, only through faith in Christ can we find true salvation, healing, and protection. The Word declares, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5), and "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Father God, we come before You as a family in need of Your saving power. We pray for each member to experience the fullness of salvation, spirit, soul, and body. May their hearts be softened to receive Your love, their minds renewed by Your truth, and their lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, if there is any resistance to Your call, break it now. If there is unbelief, replace it with faith. If there is sin, cleanse it by the blood of Jesus. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also stand in faith for complete healing, physical, emotional, and relational. Your Word says, "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise over every sickness, every pain, and every broken area in their lives. Touch them, Lord, with Your healing hand. Restore what has been lost, mend what has been broken, and strengthen what has grown weak.

For protection, we declare that this family is hidden in Christ. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge" (Psalm 18:2). We rebuke every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy (John 10:10). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let Your peace rule in their home.

Father, we also pray for unity in this family. May they be bound together by love, humility, and forgiveness. Help them to bear with one another in patience, to speak the truth in love, and to walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received (Ephesians 4:1-3). If there is strife or division, we ask that You heal it now. Let Your love be the foundation of their home.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that this family is blessed, healed, and protected in Jesus’ name. May they grow in grace, walk in obedience, and shine as a light for Your glory. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. It’s a beautiful thing to bring the people you love before the Lord, trusting Him for their salvation, healing, and protection. We’re grateful to join you in that.

When we carry concerns for our family, prayer becomes more than a list of requests, it’s the way we tether ourselves to a God who is both close to us in our love for them and powerful over every circumstance they face. In the body of Christ, we also lean on one another. Knowing others are lifting these same needs makes the burden feel shared and the hope more tangible. If you haven’t already, consider asking a few trusted friends from church to pray with you regularly. Simply knowing someone else is interceding can steady your heart on the harder days.

We don’t always see the answers right away, but prayer is never wasted. God hears you, and He loves your family even more than you do. We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we bring this family before You. For every member who doesn’t yet know You, we ask for the gift of salvation, draw them gently and relentlessly. We ask for healing in every part of their lives: bodies that need mending, hearts that carry wounds, relationships that need restoring. Cover them with Your protection each day, shielding them from harm and evil. And steady this one who prays, filling them with peace that goes beyond understanding as they place their loved ones in Your safe hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The prayer of your heart for salvation, healing, and protection is a cry that heaven delights to answer, for these very mercies are stored up in Christ Jesus for all who come to God by him. First, make your own salvation sure. The plain gospel is this: “Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Salvation is not by works, nor by feelings, nor by any merit of yours; it is by divine grace through faith in the Person of the Lord Jesus. He is the foundation laid in Zion, and he that believeth on him, trusting his soul entirely into those pierced hands, hath everlasting life. Look away from all else; look to him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. That look costs nothing, needs no preparation, and brings instantaneous pardon. It is without money and without price, for Christ has paid it all. Come then with your sins and your emptiness, and receive from his fullness.

For healing, remember the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Our Lord Jesus is that tree, and even the least thing about him is full of healing virtue. His touch, his word, his very shadow restoreth the soul. Bring your bodily ailments and lay them before him who is the Great Physician; but more, bring the deeper sickness of sin, for he healeth all thy diseases, forgiving all thine iniquities. The leaves change the life-blood, renew the spirits, and make the nature other than it was. There is abundance of healing power in him for the blackest sinner and the most stubborn malady. Cry, “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed.”

Protection, too, is wrapped up in the same salvation. It is God’s salvation, wrought by his own right hand, planned in infinite wisdom, and sealed by the blood of his dear Son. When the Lord is thy light and thy salvation, whom shalt thou fear? None can pluck thee from his hand, for his honour is engaged to save the meanest of his sheep. He is a wall of fire round about his people, a present help in trouble. Commit thy way and thy household unto him; trust in his sovereign care, and thou shalt not be moved.

And for thy family, pray with all thine heart for household salvation. Did not the jailer of Philippi hear the word and rejoice, believing in God with all his house? This common salvation is not a narrow stream but a broad river, wide enough for every soul under thy roof. Lay hold of the promise, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” The Lord often uses one to be a decoy to draw the rest into the gospel net. Teach thy children his fear, pray without ceasing, and let thy life be a savor of Christ. So shall it be said of thy dwelling, “They are a rejoicing family because they are a renewed family.”

Look, then, to Jesus only. There is no other salvation; but in him is all that thou needest for time and eternity. Go, and make this salvation known, and may the Lord before whom thy prayer is set cause his face to shine upon thee and thine, and bring you all at last to the many mansions, where the leaves of healing shall fade no more.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for salvation for yourself and your family, and this is a right and necessary petition, yet hear carefully the words our Lord spoke. It is not enough to be freed from one snare only, but we must cultivate all the parts of virtue. No one part is sufficient for our salvation, careful hearing is required, and a continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. Do not imagine that hearing the word or offering a brief prayer is sufficient, for if you are soft and unmanly, or remiss and careless about the hearing of the word, what ground have you gained? The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the seed, and with them all the rest, vainglory, pleasure, gluttony, envy.

When you ask for healing and protection, understand that affliction itself is often granted for your comfort and salvation, working in the patient enduring of sufferings. The sufferings of Christ abound in His people, and being partakers of the sufferings means being partakers also of the comfort. Do not despise the remedies God provides, even when they come through trials, for these things are done for our salvation. Strength to endure is a greater display of God’s mercy than immediate deliverance.

Seize this present time with urgency. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off your full surrender to Christ to your latest breath, as the catechumens often do, reasoning that here is One who will deliver us without labor. It is extreme folly to delay accepting the Gift when the only season available for salvation is this present hour. The Lord is at hand, and the remainder of time is short. You have the prayers of the church, and indeed God often attributes deliverance to prayers, but salvation must be actively laid hold of through a transformed life.

Let your household see not merely a petition for protection but a radical detachment from the world. What is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? And what of his family? The salvation that comes through losing one’s life for Christ’s sake is far different from a mere earthly comfort. Those who do not recognize this think the word of the Cross is foolishness, and it is a mark of them that perish not to know the things that lead to salvation. Do not be such a one. Do not let your family remain ignorant of the common salvation, for we must love all men and draw them over unto salvation more dearly than we cling to our own ease.

Pray then, but know that He speaks these things not for condemnation but for your salvation. Christ came not to judge the world but to save the world, and His words are graciousness and lovingkindness. The death of Jesus was the salvation of the world. Run to Him who takes away the sin of the world. Wash away the charges that lie against you and your house not by a lazy hope, but by forcing the body into subjection, filling your mind with scripture, and making your home a church where the word is done as well as heard, both in little things and in great. For the word is deeply planted only when we are delivered from all worldly things.

I am moved by your prayer, asking for salvation, healing, and protection for yourself and your family. The name of Jesus itself means “the Lord is salvation.” There is no other provision for sin, no other door to eternal life. Scripture tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. That confession changes everything, it brings us from death into life. But a day is coming when every knee will bow, and that confession will be too late for salvation. Now, right now, is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation. Do not let that moment slip by, for you or for anyone in your household. Keep calling out in Jesus’ name, and keep urging your loved ones to receive the grace of God that brings salvation. That grace has appeared to all people, and it is the only hope.

As you pray for healing, remember that the greatest miracle God ever works in our lives is the forgiveness of sins. Healing of the body matters, and Jesus bore our sicknesses, yet not every healing in Scripture came instantly. Some were gradual, and even the apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn to be removed and was told God’s grace was sufficient. The healing processes God placed within our bodies, what we call natural, are still divine, because He is the Creator. So entrust your health and the health of your family to the One who is the captain of our salvation. Whether He removes the affliction immediately, over time, or gives strength to endure, His purpose is always to draw us nearer to Him and to shape us into His poem, His workmanship.

Protection is another way we lean on His Lordship. We are hidden in Christ, and nothing can separate us from His love. That does not mean life will be free of trouble, but no scheme of the enemy can undo what God has secured for you through Jesus. Walk in the fear of the Lord, not cringing terror, but a trembling awe that He has saved you apart from any works you could offer. Work out that salvation with reverence, letting it transform how you respond to adversity, showing kindness and love even when it is hard.

Do not be surprised if your closest bonds with family become strained over the gospel. Jesus himself was not honored among His own relatives, and his own brothers thought he was out of his mind. Yet later many of them came to faith. The family of God runs deeper than natural bloodlines when those natural ties are not yet anchored in Christ. Pray on, and love them without offense, so that nothing hinders the message of salvation from reaching their hearts. This is the great salvation: whosoever will may come, and Jesus will never cast them out. He has room for every member of your family. Keep bringing them before the throne, and rest in the truth that He is both the author and the finisher of our faith.
