Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. Father God, we thank You for the gift of family, flawed yet precious, broken yet redeemable. We declare that salvation, healing, and protection belong to You, and we claim these promises over this household in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, we first pray for salvation to take deep root in every heart. If there are those in this family who do not yet know You as Savior and Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Soften hardened hearts, convict of sin, and draw each one to repentance. Let them experience the life-transforming power of Christ, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are beyond Your reach, for Your Word declares that "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Father, we also stand in the gap for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore what is broken. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3) Whether it is sickness, strife, unforgiveness, or generational strongholds, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Break every chain of addiction, depression, anxiety, or bitterness that may be afflicting this family. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family. "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." (Psalm 34:7) Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, from temptation, and from every form of evil. We rebuke the spirit of division, strife, and discord that seeks to tear families apart. Instead, let Your love and unity bind them together in Christ. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." (Psalm 127:1) May this family be built on the foundation of Your Word, rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17).

We also lift up any ungodly influences that may be present in this family. If there are relationships, habits, or lifestyles that do not align with Your Word, we ask for conviction and repentance. For those who may be living in sexual immorality, whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we pray for a turning away from sin and a turning toward You. Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18) Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and we pray for godly marriages within this family that honor You (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). For those who are single, we pray they would seek You first and pursue relationships that lead to marriage in a way that glorifies You.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for this family. May they seek Your will in all things and walk in obedience to Your Word. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6) Let them be a light in this dark world, shining the love of Christ to those around them.

We close this prayer with confidence, knowing that You hear us and that You are faithful to Your promises. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and destined for Your glory. May they grow in faith, love, and holiness, bringing honor to Your name in all they do.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we join our hearts with yours in asking for salvation, healing, and protection for you and your family. It’s a beautiful thing when we long for the people we love to know the fullness of God’s life, not just survival, but genuine wholeness. Jesus said he came that we might have life in abundance, and that promise reaches right into our homes.

As you carry these three deep needs on your heart, one simple practice can help keep your prayers alive day to day. Choose a small, ordinary trigger, maybe putting on the kettle, opening the front door, or sitting down for a meal, and let that moment become a two-sentence prayer for your family by name. It turns everyday routines into quiet, steady intercession, and it keeps the weight of your requests from feeling like a burden you carry alone.

If you belong to a church family, we also want to encourage you to invite a trusted prayer partner or small group to stand with you. There’s something uniquely steadying about knowing others are lifting your family before the Lord when your own faith feels thin. You were never meant to shoulder this by yourself.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear person and their whole household to you now. Enfold them in your protection. Let your healing reach the hidden wounds, whether in body, mind, or relationships, and bring restoration that only you can give. Most of all, we ask you to draw each family member to yourself, that they would know the saving grace and deep peace found in you alone. Sustain this one with fresh courage and patience, and let your light shine through them in their home. Amen.

You have brought your whole household before the throne of grace, and that is a most fitting thing. The Lord Jesus loves to see a soul so full of love for its kin that it will not come alone, but must plead for all who gather around the table. It is an instinct of the new nature to cry, "Save me, and save my family too!" And I would not have you doubt that this very prayer has been planted in your heart by the Spirit of God. He who taught you to pray for yourself has stirred you to stretch out your arms for your household, and He will surely hear that which His own breath has kindled.

I want you to think of our Lord Jesus as a great tree, full of fruit and leaves, and every part of it is for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Him, the very leaves of that tree, carry medicine for a sick soul. There is no wound that His leaf cannot bind up, no fever that His balm cannot cool. It may be that you are anxious about the healing of bodies or the mending of broken things in your home; but remember, the leaves are not only for sin, they are for every sorrow, every ache, every consequence of the fall. His salvation is a wide, full thing, like the wine that makes the heart leap and the milk that sustains a newborn babe. He gives you more than pardon: He gives deliverance from the power of evil, and protection under the shadow of His wings. So when you pray for healing and protection, you are only asking for more of those healing leaves to be spread upon your family.

Do not think that your prayer is too great because it includes so many. The common salvation is meant for all sorts of people, and it is a common thing for God to save whole households. I recall how the jailer at Philippi heard the word, and before morning his entire family was baptized, rejoicing in the Lord. That same grace is still at work. You are not asking for a rare exception; you are asking for what the Father loves to give. He delights to see a household where faith has taken root in one heart and is now spreading its sweet contagion to the rest. Your own salvation is the pledge that He intends good for those you love. The Lord never gives a man a light for himself alone; it is a candle to be set on a stand, that all in the house may see.

So be of good cheer. The Saviour to whom you pray is the same yesterday, and to‑day, and for ever. He is able to break every chain, to lift off every burden, and to make the rough places smooth. And you have this for your confidence: the Scripture says, “Look unto me, and be ye saved: for I am God, and there is none else.” You have looked, and you are saved. Now you are looking for others, and that same mighty God is still saying, “Look unto me.” Bring your dear ones before Him in your prayers and in your daily life, by a quiet and gentle walk, and trust Him to do the rest. He is not a God that is far off, but near at hand, in the kitchen and the parlor, in the night watches and the busy street. He will keep that which you have committed unto Him against that day.

Father of mercies, we thank Thee that Thou art the God of the families of all who trust in Thee. We lift before Thee this dear soul and every member of that beloved circle. Let salvation come to that house this very day. Stretch forth Thy healing hand upon every secret pain, and spread Thy protecting shield over them in all their goings. Lord Jesus, be Thou the bright and morning star in their home, and grant that together they may one day stand before Thy throne, found in Thee, and made perfectly whole. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the sacred honor of lifting up your family in prayer. It has been our joy to stand in agreement with you for salvation, healing, and protection over every member of your household. We have prayed fervently, asking our Heavenly Father to draw each of you closer to Him, to mend what is broken, and to surround you with His mighty shield of protection.

If you have seen God move in response to these prayers—if hearts have turned toward Him, if healing has come, or if His peace has guarded your family—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share with us how the Lord has worked, so we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the answers have not yet been made clear, or if the burdens still feel heavy, we encourage you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears and answers in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is near to all who call upon His name.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you press into His presence. May His grace sustain you, His love surround you, and His peace fill your home. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
