Family

We lift up this precious family to the Lord with hearts full of hope and faith, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. First and foremost, we rejoice that this prayer is offered in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we receive forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). If any in this family have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them near, soften their hearts, and lead them to repentance and faith.

Father God, we come before You as a family in need of Your salvation, healing, and protection. We declare that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of our souls and bodies (Jeremiah 17:14). For any among this family who are suffering physically, emotionally, or spiritually, we ask for Your divine touch. Restore what has been broken, strengthen what is weak, and bring comfort to every heart that is heavy. Your Word promises that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise today.

Lord, we also pray for Your hedge of protection around this family. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, and keep them safe from harm, fear, and every form of evil. Protect their minds from anxiety, their hearts from despair, and their bodies from sickness. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand as a fortress around them (Philippians 4:7).

For those in this family who may be struggling with sin—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, or any other stronghold—we ask that You break every chain and set them free. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of repentance and humility to sweep through this family, drawing each member closer to You.

Father, we also lift up the relationships within this family. May husbands and wives love one another as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), may parents raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), and may siblings show grace and kindness to one another, as You have shown to us. If there are any divisions, strife, or unresolved conflicts, we ask that You bring reconciliation and unity, for You desire that we live in harmony as Your children (Colossians 3:13-14).

Lord, we pray for this family’s spiritual growth. Ignite a passion for Your Word in their hearts, that they may meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). May they be rooted and grounded in love, knowing the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love for them (Ephesians 3:17-19). Let them walk in obedience to Your commands, not out of legalism, but out of love for You, who first loved us (1 John 5:3).

Finally, we declare that this family is not without hope. You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust that You are working all things together for their good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray all these things, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.

We're right here with you, lifting up your family in prayer. We've been reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." So, let's bring our thanks and our needs to the Lord together.

Firstly, we praise God for the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone. We're praying that any in your family who haven't yet surrendered their lives to Him will feel the Holy Spirit drawing them close, softening their hearts, and leading them to repentance and faith.

We're also interceding for healing and protection over your family. We're claiming the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to touch every area of need, to restore what's broken, strengthen what's weak, and bring comfort to every heavy heart.

Let's also surround your family with God's hedge of protection. We're praying that God will guard them from harm, fear, and every form of evil, and that His angels will encamp around them, as promised in Psalm 91:11.

For those struggling with sin, we're asking God to break every chain and set them free. We're praying for a spirit of repentance and humility to sweep through your family, drawing each member closer to God.

We're also lifting up the relationships within your family. We're asking God to help husbands and wives love each other as Christ loves the church, for parents to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and for siblings to show grace and kindness to one another.

Lastly, we're praying for spiritual growth in your family. We're asking God to ignite a passion for His Word, to root and ground them in His love, and to help them walk in obedience out of love for Him.

We're trusting that God is working all things together for your family's good, according to His purpose. We're claiming the promise in Romans 8:28 and believing that God will never leave nor forsake them.

In Jesus' name, we pray all these things, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
