We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this family member whose name has been withheld. Father God, we ask that You would move mightily in their life, bringing healing and restoration to every part of their body. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over them, Lord, trusting that You are the Great Physician who can mend what is broken and strengthen what is weak.
We also pray for this government job, Father. May Your favor rest upon them as they serve in this capacity. Give them wisdom, integrity, and discernment in every decision they make. Proverbs 22:29 reminds us, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men." Lord, we ask that You would elevate them in their role, not for their own glory, but so that they may be a light in a place that often lacks Your truth. Surround them with godly counsel and protect them from any corruption or unrighteous influences.
Father, we also lift up their spiritual well-being. If they do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we pray that this family member would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. If they are already a believer, we ask that You would deepen their faith and draw them closer to You.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be plaguing their mind. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this family member will walk in the power and peace that only You can provide. Strengthen them in their inner being, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also pray for their family as a whole. May they be united in love and purpose, standing firm on the foundation of Your Word. Help them to encourage one another, bear each other’s burdens, and walk in the light of Your truth. Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and refuge, where Your presence is felt and Your name is honored.
In all things, Lord, we trust in Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your kingdom come in their life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
